Lomu's agility looks amazing for a tackle. Seems like trading up was a good idea to get Lomu. I think Lomu is going to surprise us.
This is the kind of guy that can be a surprise in camp. Overlooked, talented athletically, coachable, plays a position of need. Opportunity meets desire.
Eesh. At first I saw "dodge a wench," which can also be a useful skill.
I had the same initial misread, leading to momentary confusion about the many scenarios in which one might need to dodge a wench.
In a dark but thankfully brief moment, the expression "monkey wench" crossed my mind, at which point the dodging made perfect sense.
Doubtless caused by your associating it with monkeying around, or monkey business, right?
I don't know if it's that, or the brighter lights a lot of these new headlights have, and my old eyes. But I agree - also not a fan.
Agreed. This has been a weird offseason...don't really remember one like it. Looking forward to when camp finally gets going in a few weeks.
Yep, this offseason has been so boring, with nothing more exciting than Diana Russini filling the Athketic with puff pieces about Eagles receiver AJ Brown and Vrabel doing a defensive coaching mind meld with protege Gabe Jacas there’s been nothing to talk about. Except Christian Gonzalez’ nickname. And argue about whether we fill roster holes this year, or how we address them in the future.
