Some nice news on this Wednesday:

Congratulations to those two. He's been great, and she's terrific. That apple doesn't fall far from the tree, given the job her dad has done here for so many years, and it's good to see how much she's grown here. Best wishes to them both.

Who is the bigger homer, Burton or Zolak? I could see this turning into Brady vs. Belichick type discussion ))

Patriots are one big special teams blunder away from her having an awkward week.

She's done a good job, seems very authentic on the air as opposed to some of her co-horts. Congrats to Springer and her. Hopefully she can get a national job at some point and her conflict of interest becomes less of a problem for her.

Does that mean that fringe 49ers columnist who is obsessed with the Russini/Vrabel affair on social media going to expand his tin foil hat rantings to this? I hope Burton didn't have a vote for Special Teams Coach of the Year award.

BTW, congrats to the newlyweds.

Looks like La Jolla. Iconic beach. Well done sir.

I can imagine Felger is happy to have another "Coach Sleeps With Reporter" story line to run with...
At least this time they’re married to each other, instead of other people.

Congrats.

So, the Russini outrage is just about the affair and not the coach/reporter dynamic?

Well, that and she was breaking stories based upon the sexual relationship. The issue when it a person covering the team and either breaking stories or writing articles that have the underpinning of an inappropriate relationship.

She is mostly a Celtics reporter and he is a special teams coach. Totally different

But I don’t have the outrage. It was two people making reckless decisions. Was it stupid? Yes. Was it outrage worthy? I don’t think so.
Sometimes people seem to protest too much, as the saying goes.

coach/reporter dynamic / unofficial advisor / captain /first mate / sunset rooftop slow dance partners

Note: I suspect she was the captain

He's moved on to blaming Vrabel and Russini for Belichick's exit lmao

Really?!? It was known that Mayo was the heir apparent. There was always a chance that Mayo wouldn't have been such a disaster and Vrabel would have never had a chance to coach in New England.
