Unless there's some big revelation that occurs like the husband demands paternity test and it's not his, then the media may not have anything else. It's as clear as day they were having an affair, but the NFL won't do anything because they want this to go away. It will open up Pandora's Box of more reporters sleeping with players, coaches and executives. Dianna isn't the only one, but the one who got caught.

Even if they fessed up the media would have tortured them anyways. Everyone’s initial reaction is to deny. Most double and triple down. Vrabel indirectly manned up early.
You are correct it is down time in the NFL and we know the media have to justify their job. Most are not talented enough to do it the old fashion way with good journalism. This day and age media is all about negative click bait
