DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft Day 3

A traits guy with a thin resume but who had a strong year last year. I can understand it. But it would have been my pick with what was on the board.
 
Highlight reel didn't show anything all that special, but it did show pretty good coverage.
 
I liked our first 3 picks.
This one however leaves much to be desired.
Seems many better players available.

Nobody is Perfect our Brass just had a BB moment.

12th best PFF coverage grade at CB. That's not bad for a late 5th rounder.

Why is there only room for 3 TE? They only used 3RBs all year. They subtract WR and the extra O-line when they carried 10 and they could easily carry 4 TEs.
 
Expect Allen, Khalil Jacobs and a QB in the 6th.
Hoping for Van der Berg, Jack Kelly or Cameron.
 
Prunty is a solid pick, can be the outside corner #3, probably #4 to start his career behind Woods. But likely will pass Woods before long. He can play man or zone, if he bulks up a bit he has good potential.
 
5th round. Roll the dice. Let’s not overthink : first overalls have been total busts. To over analyse at this junction….

Good question. I’ve noticed that Pro Day numbers are a bit better than Combine numbers. Not sure why.

Dude its round 5 not round 2. Get a grip. Roughly 8.9% ever get a long term contract. Its ok. You will be just fine.
