DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft: Day 2

Re-setting the board for day 3. Some of these will be fanciful unless we get a 4th rounder somehow.

CB Keionte Scott (top of my board)
RB Mike Washington (ditto)
S Jalon Kilgore (not for me)
WR Skyler Bell
LB Kyle Louis (yes please)
LB Jimmy Rolder (yes please)
WR Cyrus Allen (30 visit)
S Zakee Wheatley (ditto)
S VJ Payne (really interesting Carlton Davis LT replacement option)
EDGE Dani Dennis-Sutton (surprising)
EDGE Trey Moore (binky)
DT Gracen Halton
DT Kaleb Proctor (binky)
CB Devin Moore
CB Charles Demmings

and many more. Would love to get a 4th rounder back somehow.

I wasn't a big fan of Thomas. Made spectacular plays but some pretty big boobs too, both in coverage and against the run. He didn't feel too Vrabel-like to me.

Agreed.....he was a flawed prospect. Hence the 6th/7th round expectation. But in those rounds, a decent development type. He did miss a lot of tackles and needs to improve in that area. Shocked he went so early.

Possibly. We didn't have any contact that we know of so who knows? He'd be a good pick for sure.

Henry sucks as a blocker. This isn't news. Certain people are touting Raridon as the next great WR since Gronkowski.. Which is f'in absurd.
 
I thought the three biggest needs were Edge, RT, and TE.

Through three picks, all three needs have been addressed with high caliber athletes.

Time will tell if the picks pan out, but I'm having a difficult time finding something to complain about.

Jacas also said he looks up to and models his game after former Patriots Pro Bowl pass rusher Matthew Judon. Jacas stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 260 pounds. Judon is 6-foot-3 and played at 265 pounds. The NFL Network’s player comparison for Jacas was also Judon.

The Projection​

Jacas’s NFL comp is Trey Hendrickson (Ravens). Jacas, like Hendrickson (pick no. 103), won’t be a first-rounder because of his athletic profile. But both are excellent with their hands, have strong wrestling backgrounds, and play with relentless motor and toughness. Jacas should develop into one of the steals from this draft.
 
Is it time to funnel this into the day 3 thread where we speculate and talk binkies?

I don't think that is a fair comp as Jacas has more power moves to his game than Judon does.

If you are a fan it IS allowed to be optimistic about our picks.

That’s not discouraging me at all, lol.
 
A little disappointed with the Raridon pick - not because I don't like Raridon, but it felt like a reach for TE over better values.
