2026 Draft: WR

De'Zhaun Stribling @ 125 = excellent value

De'Zhaun Stribling @ 95 = mild reach, acceptable option depending on who else is available

De'Zhaun Stribling @ 63 = major reach, someone else is welcome to him

X or versatile primary WRs I would take ahead of De'Zhaun Stribling:

1. Jordyn Tyson
2. Chris Bell
3. Ted Hurst
4. Denzel Boston

WRs I would consider in the same range as De'Zhaun Stribling:

1. Bryce Lance
2. Skyler Bell
3. Malachi Fields
4. Chris Brazzell

WRs I would take day 3 if all off the above were off the board:

1. Jeff Caldwell
2. Josh Cameron
2. Reggie Virgil
4. Ja'Kobi Lane
5. CJ Daniels
6. J. Michael Sturdivant
7. Colbie Young

I am not including slot receivers, guys who would go high who are not X or primary WRs (Germie Bernard, Antonio Williams).

Are you saying you would take Stribling over Bell? A week or so ago you were in the "if Bell falls to 63, he may be too good to pass up" camp.

Stribling is a good WR, but he is not a top 64 prospect, IMO. I love his versatility and athleticism. But I don't see him being a primary WR talent, and I think his upside is far more limited than Hurst's.

I personally think you are over-coveting Stribling, though you may be right. I personally wouldn't consider WR unless Bell falls. JMHO. I certainly have no monopoly on being right, far from it.

I'm not getting involved.

I am really starting to warm up to Brazzell, I know that he has the Tennessee WR stigma but I think he is going to be a very good pro. When I watch him I see ability that will translate (decent releases, tracks the ball well and can adjust to poor thrown balls), so great body control. I am not suggesting the Pats draft him but if they do I am all for it.

Yeah. I said about a month ago that I think he'll be the best WR from this class, as long as he doesn't end up in some dysfunctional team.

He's got more traits than any other WR in the class. It's just that Tennessee offense makes it so hard to project.

One name to keep in the back of your mind is slot receiver Kevin Coleman Jr of Missouri. Some time ago, Tony Pauline said that Eliot Wolf was very impressed by him at his pro day. I don't know if that's true or not, but in light of the Cyrus Allen 30 visit, we could be looking at a slot receiver.

@dliverey44 @Username have the recent trend of Tennessee WR's entering the Pros taught you guys anything?? I hope the Patriots Brass go with History regarding Brazzell. I hope he does well somewhere else no thanks.

You say could?? I'll go one better we "should". I'll take the Two Cincinnati Boys Allen and Caldwell.

that doesn't tie in with Vrabel saying we need to use Pop Douglas better though. We'll see.

Coleman, Allen, Short...and Heidenreich.

Brazzell is different. Tennessee play a weird offense that is based on high tempo, space, straight line speed and one on one match ups. It can't be replicated in the NFL. That's why a significant number of their WR's don't make an impact in the NFL, they have no nuance to their game, they just run fast and straight. But Chris Brazzell has shown far more ability, he's bigger, more agile, has far greater footwork, stop start and loose hips than any previous Tennessee WR

To dismiss or laud any player based purely on their helmet as opposed to their skill set and ability is really not adding much to the discourse
