Fire Vrabel?

Assertions are being made on this board that Vrabel has destroyed his credibility with the players, and can no longer coach them on important issues like not creating distractions. If those allegations are true he has undermined his ability to do his job as coach, so the team needs to take action.

What action(s) should be taken to punish him?

The belichick walk of shame photos were more lurid than vrabel getting overly familiar with a consenting adult at a pool party

I guess the real thing is did he let slip any Pats info to her, or even Titans info back in the day. That could be the death knell.

This is weird, no ? He comes into a piss poor situation w BS players and BS results. Overhauls, hits on almost all FAs & draft picks and leads a ragtag group to the SB.

Fire him ? He’s not on a plane trafficking children…. he’s a (potentially) unfaithful celeb. What are we even doing here ?

The misconception among professional athletes, coaches, Owners, etc are that they are gentleman. Tom Brady was still playing games with Bridget Moynahan because he didn't think Gisselle was going to continue to date him. A lot of these guys are scumbags, but you don't even know about it.

If anything, Russini's career is cooked.

What should the Patriots do to punish their incumbent Coach of the Year?

Summary execution. Fire Vrabel immediately

Due process. Investigate, then fire him.

Don’t assume. See how he performs this year, reward or punish based on results not speculation.

Respect privacy. It’s his business as long as he does his job.
