I was surprised by the fallout to her jon because the Washington GM's wife publicly accused her of sleeping with her husband to get scoops and that had no impact.
I always find it weird how people's reaction changes drastically just because they see something instead of hearing or reading it.
Well one way to find out, it’s 12 days until the draft, so she should be writing articles leading up to the draft. But they all just repeat each other and no one actually links back to anything. Maybe I’m wrong but it seems like the actual scope of the “investigation” is getting exaggerated rapidly without cause by the media.
That’s definitely more specific. The Athletic confirms that Dianna Russini is under investigation, "will not be reporting"
Everybody wants to cover sports media.www.nbcsports.com
She is cooked. Someone was out to get either one of them or both. She got the short straw. That’s definitely more specific.
Interesting point made here - their guidelines they are investigating against are whether there “was a conflict of interest of the appearance of a conflict of interest.” Whether there actually was a conflict or not I think it’s hard to argue that there is the appearance of one. So I don’t really know how she would pass such an investigation of that is the bar they are measuring against here.
Yep someone was following them, got some inside info etc. This didn't just happen and I bet neither she nor Vrabel thought this one out enough. She is cooked. Someone was out to get either one of them or both. She got the short straw.
If they had something worse, they would have led with that. So, their passionate affair consists of holding hands briefly and sitting in a pool nowhere near each other in full view of a group of people. Sizzling stuff, guys.
I believe @Tunescribe is the only one of the profession I know that posts here. What're your thoughts?
If I got that wrong and it isn't him, welp, then whatever.
If it was a PI that in fact provided the photos to TMZ, then its entirely possible they have more photos that were given to the client.Walsh's paradox in action (if photo evidence of worse exists, why haven't we seen it?).
FWIW, her contract with The Athletic expires this August, according to Mike Florio, so they might cut bait either way.IF she has been/is sleeping with Vrabel and that's verified by her employer(s), it could kill her career -- at least, in the form she has known it to this point. It's complicated by the fact that Russini has media star power so she's got that going for her. But if they're concerned enough to suspend and investigate her it does not bode well.

1 question, 2 room or 1 room between the 2.
Imagine if she loses both her career and her marriage over this. Pretty steep price for a "fling" at age 43.
Any sexisim aside, there's a conflict of interest for her as a supposed unbiased reporter, given that she's supposed to fairly cover all teamsThey banged or are banging. If true, this my put the nail in the coffin on her career. It was a bad look when she got accused of messing around with the Washington GM.
Well? Did you?IF she has been/is sleeping with Vrabel and that's verified by her employer(s), it could kill her career -- at least, in the form she has known it to this point. In my newspaper days I did a rather high stakes investigative report on a woman in Lowell who accused her estranged husband of sexually abusing their two young daughters before kidnapping both of them to his native Greece. I interviewed the woman quite a few times along with others involved -- doctors, a legal guardian, etc. Before the story was published I had to vet everything with the paper's lawyer; one question he asked was if I'd been intimate with her. The point was if the husband challenged us legally my objectivity had to be unassailable.
Of course, few things destroy a reporter's credibility more surely than becoming personally involved with sources -- it's a professional red line you dare not cross. Again, IF Russini was boinking Vrabel it was recklessly stupid and not too bright of him either.
Well? Did you?
