2026 Draft: Tight Ends

Seems like Jack Endries gets' no love around here he looks like a Solid TE Productive.

Not sold on Endries, but in the day 3 mix.

Inconsistent run blocking, lack of quickness in and out of breaks on routes, double-catches...

Could you show me where they say that about Delp??
 
One to keep an eye on as a possible UDFA

Heinrich Haarberg, TE, Nebraska

6'4.5", 237bs

Only had 8 catches for 52 yards. His blocking grades are decent, in the 60s for both pass and run blocking.

But....

"Tight end Heinrich Haarberg had an outstanding workout, timing 4.51 seconds in the 40 and 4.15 seconds in the short shuttle after measuring just under 6-foot-4.5 and 237 pounds. He also touched 38 inches in the vertical jump and 10-foot-8 in the broad jump. A quarterback who turned into a tight end, Haarberg is a freak athlete and developmental prospect at the position."

Daniel Jeremiah lists Marlin Klein as a day 2 TE.

So, physically, there is one essential difference between Sam Roush and Rob Gronkowski:

40: Gronk 4.68, Roush 4.70
10-split: Gronk 1.58, Roush 1.61
3C: Gronk 7.18, Roush 7.08
SS: Gronk 4.47, Roush 4.33
VJ: Gronk 33.5" Roush 38.5"
BJ: Gronk 9'11" , Roush 10' 6"
BP: Gronk 23, Roush 25
Height: Gronk 6' 6 1/4", Roush 6' 6"
Weight: Gronk 258#, Roush 267#
Hand: Gronk 10.75", Roush 10"
Arm: Gronk 34.25, Roush 30.63
 
So thats why he has trouble catching the ball.

Roush is more athletic than Gronk. A bit stronger. But won't throw anyone out of the Club.

Technically lifting 23 reps with 34" arms is more work than 25 reps with 30" arms. Gronk is a bit stronger.

PS The longer arms also give Gronk more torque when shedding a guy. You might call this throwing them out of the club.

That's a nasty 3 cone for a Guy his Size.
 
Roush and Delp on a Double dip for me: one or both will be solid NFL Pros.
