PATRIOTS NEWS Schefter: Pats will be featured on *2027* Hard Knocks

Breaking New England Patriots Team News
TreVeyon Henderson is correct and so is Jaden Ivey. LGBTQ acts are a sin (sin is unrighteous). For some reason homosexuality and trans is the sin that the NBA and the NFL want to advertise, promote and encourage to fans. Like any sin, we need to turn to Christ, repent, ask for forgiveness and ask for God to change our hearts. This Friday we celebrate what Christ has done for sinners so that we might be saved. He took the punishment we deserved. Good on Henderson for speaking the truth. The Gospel has eternal implications for every single one of us.
That’s one set of beliefs. Others believe differently.

You have the right to state your beliefs. Others have the right to state they believe you’re full of ****.

Everyone can believe whatever they want. They can’t force their beliefs on anyone else.

I agree

Henderson is hiding behind a book to defend a guy who rant against homosexuality, calling out other players for not being real Christians, called catholicism a false religion, and ranted continuously about judgment day.
I don't think the word "hiding" means what you think it means....

While 99.9% of athletes are just saying silent on the matter, Henderson stepped forth and made a public statement for all the world to see. That's actually kinda the exact opposite of hiding.

I am not saying Henderson is hiding his views. I am saying he is using a book to justify defending someone with bad views.
He quoted scripture. Not everyone believes what he believes but to him, scripture is the Word of God.

So yeah... using the Word of God to defend one's views makes perfect sense. If that upsets you, which it clearly does, too bad.

And yet, that's exactly what the Bulls (and other teams for that matter) are doing which started this whole mess.

They are trying to force their beliefs on people who vehemently disagree with those beliefs.

I don’t think I am the one who is upset. The bible thumpers love to play the victim and add like they're being persecuted against when in reality they're wrapping themselves in religion as a thin veil to cover up other things.

Well for someone who claims to be not upset, you sure are throwing around an awful lot of derogatory comments for no reason whatsoever...

BB’s girlfriend would be all over this. She’d get more screen time than Drake Maye.
Nothing but drama and distraction thats not needed, but so be it.

In true NY Jets form, it will be quite fitting if the PATs miss this post season and then theyre featured on Hard Knocks the NFLs version of Big Btother.

I don’t know why people are freaking out about this. We basically did that this season with Forged in Foxboro. Everything NFL Films shoots needs to be approved by the team before it goes on air. For the last decade Hard Knocks has been a puff piece for whatever team it covers and with full editorial control nothing will come out that Vrabel and co don't want out.
Wonder if Bob K will purchase a helicopter and land it on the field in the middle of Pats practice like Big Jerry J did?

I agree with every word.
However I believe that sports teams doing Pride months or whatever are intruding their "beliefs" * on the players & fans.

* I see it as corporate virtue signaling but others may well differ.

P.S. This issue has nothing to do with the 1st amendment which protects your & my speech against the government.
A corporation or a Forum has every right to squelch speech they believe counterproductive to their mission.

So disparaging homosexuality, other NBA players, and catholicism is freedom of speech but criticizing one of our players endorsing those views is the derogatory part? Got it.

Do the Pats charge for forged in Foxboro? I don’t think they do. HBO does charge, and the nfl probably gets a percent.

I am not sure I am following. Every time you tune into a game, buy a ticket, jersey, etc. the NFL gets a percent. Not sure why it matters if HBO, the league, or team is making money off of HK.

Nothing could top 2024 Giants Hard Knocks letting Saquon go and watch him win a Super Bowl in Philly. They played the video numerous times here...

Using vernacular like "Bible thumpers" and "wrapping themselves in religion as a thin veil to cover up other things" is derogatory. Nice strawman, though.

There are few things more gutless than someone who uses derogatory language and then pleads victimhood when called out on it. At least be a man and own your own statement.

they’ve determined the team on Hard Knocks a full year out? That seems a bit odd. Aren’t there rules against it if you’re a playoff team, etc?
I thought so until I saw the following…

They dropped the playoffs rule last year. Now the only exemptions are new HCs and having appeared recently.

If those are the only things stopping them from being on it, they may as well just make it 100% random for teams other than the previous years showing….

Not sure what you want me to own? That I dislike religion? Obviously. It isn't for me and it works for you then whatever floats your boat. I think it is kind of goofy but that's just me.

Rex Vrabel

BB would never go along with this BS.
Well considering the next two teams to be featured are the ones that just faced off in the Super Bowl, I don't get the impression the NFL needs to say pretty please with sugar on top.
