2026 Draft: RT

Agreed, but I personally wouldn't risk it earlier than the 4th round.

Travis Burke, RT, Memphis

6-9, 325lbs, 34.25" arms

He didn't test all that well, but at that size, not too surprising. I'll post his RAS later.

I was watching Evan Lazar, Taylor Kyles and Mike Kadlick talking about the Pats and they were speculating that the AVT, Hill and Gilliam additions suggest the Pats are moving to a more zone based scheme so I decided to look up the highest graded zone blockers at OT. 1st was Keagen Trost, 2nd was Brian Parker (who will play center) and third was Burke. Burke also has a good pass blocking grade at 81.5, equal with Fano. He gave up 3 sacks on the year but only 13 pressures. More importantly in true pass sets, only Fano, Mauigoa, Trost and Zuhn grade higher than him.

We have had a pro day meeting with him and he has now just been invited to a 30 day visit. Of what we know, that's the most interest shown in a RT so far by us.

He's a people mover and definitely plays with a mean streak.

Baldy on Burke (sound up)

Don't sleep on this one. He has been getting a lot pf pre-draft contact with a number of teams and I suspect he's going higher than where he's currently being ranked (309 on consensus board, not even on PFF board).

the RAS I promised.

I have Burke pretty much locked in as a day 3 option.

The other guys who really interest me are Keagan Trost (Manx's guy) and JC Davis, because I think both offer (1) potential starting RG upside and (2) swing tackle capability. That's a valuable combination.

Worth reposting:

Starting guard potention + swing tackle capability is a very valuable skill set.

And here's the other guy with that skill set:

Please get one of Trost, Davis, or Travis Burke day 3.

Campbell - AVT - Wilson - Trost/Davis - Iheanachor/Miller

That would be a solid OL for 2027.

Worst case scenario Trost/Davis would be a strong swing tackle + backup guard, and the Pats could target Austin Siereveld, Carter Smith, Cayden Green or Kade Pieper in 2027.

I'm starting to develop a dream of Travis Burke at RT with Keylan Rutledge at RG. Pancakes a plenty and real bully ball.

So who would you pick between Travis Burke and Dametrious Crownover?

Those are looking like the best options to me for starting RT after the 1st round guys.

I agree.

Burke has physicality and athletic upside which is very exciting. After Freeling, Iheanachor, and Miller he seems to offer the most potential.

I like the combination of violence, physicality, and movement skills/athleticism. 4 guys seem to offer it:

1. Monroe Freeling
2. Max Iheanachor
3. Blake Miller
4. Travis Burke

Right now, one of those guys is not like the others.
