He's getting the Brady treatment: elevate crap around you.Hopefully NE does right by Maye.
Extremely annoying that Nix is getting the absolute royal treatment while Maye will be forced to make it work behind an average line with average weapons. ****ing hate the Broncos.
Why would the Dolphins even sign Willis?
You bring him in the hope he's a potential solution only to trade away the weapons that give him that chance, they'd of been as well committing to the suck and not bothering with that.
They're like half in to the tank and half out, doesn't make any sense.
Trying and landing a 1 are completely different things. Try all you want but failing to do so something year in year out is inexcusable failure to help Maye. And most of us hate your posts, but you keep posting this trash. If you think for a moment that Pats have not tried to get a legit #1 and fix the o-line, you are an idiot. Vrabel and Wolf have done everything they can to get a #1 WR. You act like they haven't. Calvin Ridley, Brandon Aiyuk, Alec Pierce, Chris Godwin, DK Metcalf say hello.
Denver gets a 4th back.Seems a little rich. Agree that it means AJ Brown is an R1 deal. 100% sets the market.
Can't believe I'm saying this, but Willis should have chosen the Jets, they are at least trying to get better. Miami was clearly tanking for a QB before they signed him.Why would the Dolphins even sign Willis?

Do you want to win some games or collect draft picks and lose?
Dolphins are in rebuild mode so there’re gonna dump guys however they can. They actually got a pretty good haul for Waddle.Too bad we share a division with Jets and Dolphins
Absolutely incredible how they make other teams in the NFL and the AFC better for no reason other than their own stupidity
The other factor is Waddle hasn't been a locker problem, where AJ Brown has publicly shown frustration with his coaches.Denver was/is primed to take a step back this year so a smart move to try to improve the team and avoid that.
Basically, a late 1st and a 3rd for a WR in his prime with 1-year of a cheap cap hit. Win!
Miami wasn't trading in the division but a deal I'd have done for the Pats.
Miami full tank mode for 2027 QB.
Risks:
-He tends to get banged up, not a big guy, I'd wager he will miss at least 1 or 2 games in 2026.
-Performance dropped since 2023 though easily could be a product of the QB.
-Broncos now in the red in 2027 Cap
AJ Brown totally different, I would not have done that trade for Brown but would for Waddle. This Take out the only other legitimate suitor for Brown and a team that clearly chose Waddle over Brown.
Makes a 2nd and 4th for Brown the expected price. Otherwise move on and let Eagle implode themselves.
Yeah, guess i hate being with them in the offseason, but do love in season, you're rightThat's not a bad thing it should be 3/4 wins most seasons, i would much rather have 4 games against them than get the odd good deal.
Dolphins getting Malik Willis then leaving him no one to throw to, Jets and Dolphins do this full rebuild thing every 3/4 years.
Teams do this over and over but the truth is no such thing as a rebuild unless you hit on a quarterback it doesn't matter how many other picks you hit, it's amazing how many of the Patriots problems got hidden because Drake played like an MVP and the minute he didn't play like an MVP the whole thing on offense started to look like a bit of a disaster again.
So do we just stop watching until Waddle retires?Try the next 5+ years. Denver squarely ahead of the Pats for the foreseeable future after this move.
