We have Ben Brown as a good insurance policy.Huge injury risk. Between that and Onwenu in his year wouldn’t be surprised to see an OG drafted fairly highly (day 1 or 2).
Of course he’ll start but they need a good backup and the rookie can step in for Onwenu next year. Ben Brown isn’t a viable starter if they played Wilson at LG over him last year and Bradbury at center. That tells you the level he is. Should be the backup to backup inside.3 year deal. I’m thinking that may have been a rare Rickey Scoops miss.Pats ****ing scooped someone again lmao. He was supposedly signed by the Giants at like 2 PM…
I’m there too. Spend a pick in the first few rounds on the eventual Morgan Moses replacement. Find a Lowe replacement (Jedrick Willis?) and we’re golden. This OL is only a draft pick away from solidifying. Grab Blake Miller and you're good to go.
I thought he did well. I actually though he outplayed Wilson. I think Vrable stayed with Wilson and took his ick whilde he developed..Of course he’ll start but they need a good backup and the rookie can step in for Onwenu next year. Agree about Brown. I’m still holding out hope Bryant will develop at RT.It’s also good that they extended Ben Brown, so if AVT continues to miss some games due to injury annually, Brown can step in as a spot starter at LG and be fine.
Having said that, they’ll probably want to draft another guard this year or next year in the middle rounds to develop and compete to have good depth. Onwenu may end up needing replacing in 2027 as well if he is not extended. I might be more inclined to target right tackle first though.
