That comment from Polk might be all time “delusional”. Other than perhaps the wheelchair popcorn comment made by his draft pal. Whomever had the com for that draft should never speak on a WR again. (Wolfe I believe).

Its not our money. With the TV$ the NFL gets they should spend commensurate with other teams instead of winning the frugal Super Bowl

The dollars being spent are reasonable given how much they take in

Probably better than any receiver we currently have. Also decent height at 6’2”.

Right now our best receiver is Boutte who never broke 600yds in his career.cAnd we are talking about signing a WR who is at best a #3.

After seeing how the offense performed against better competition you don’t see why people « hate » on that idea?

Yeah, it was Wollfe’s “coup-de-grace” for that draft as he traded pick #34 for picks #37 & #110 then selected both Polk AND Baker while the Chargers picked McConkey with #34…

Not that I don't think we need help at WR but I think a lot of people are underrating Boutte, remember he was on pace to be a borderline 1000 yard guy before his injury and was arguably just as good for us as Diggs was this year.

Reality is this was a weak FA class esp at WR. That is leading to absurd overpays for mediocre players.

I did like Pierce and would have paid what the Colts did, but he wasn’t leaving there.

No other FA interests me.

Make a trade or draft a few.

Boutte shouldn't be our Best WR though: or it's Houston we have a problem.
