Highest FA contract for a receiver and "Alec Pierce" being in the same sentence wasn't on my bingo card. Yikes maybe it's good the Pats didn't go higher than that.

You'all know the Patriots story with him right?? We met with him twice had him in for a visit at Foxborough: then Drafted every Tom - **** and Zappe except him. Typical BB Draft.

That's a lot. I realize the cap has jumped quite a bit but that's a ton for Pierce who has yet to prove it...

So much for wanting "QB stability" and wanting to compete, right? Lol. Indy is a dumpster and they have wonder boy Daniel Jones on contract for 1 year.
 
I’d give 2 first for waddle or Jefferson.

Seriously though, 116m is a ton of money, but he’s just tied his professional future to Daniel Jones, when he could have had Maye, Hebert, and possibly others. I don’t want to hear this guy whining about wanting to play for a winner at a trade deadline in the near future. He could have gotten 116m or possibly more elsewhere, and have had that real contender now.
