Maybe worth a look? Only 3 sacks in 12 games last year, but had 12+ sacks in each of the previous two seasons. Likely comes much cheaper in a trade compared to a Crosby.

Would not be opposed to doing this instead of potentially overpaying Chaisson, if that’s how his market shakes out. Greenard is the better player.

Overpaid. Too many mediocre seasons. There's a reason they are entertaining a trade as they have an out on his contract.

What are we going do with Jarvis (edit) Harold Landry?? Can he just retire already.

I'm not opposed.

I just want OL/WR/TE upgrades.

This is more the type of move the team should be making, if everything else checks out.

I'd prefer giving up a day 2 pick for a Landry type of contract, then putting all our eggs in one basket while leaving the draft very thin.

The guy did have 12 sacks in each of the 2023 and 2024 seasons for two different teams. I know little about him though. So I am no expert about whether he is a good fit or if he is actually as good as those numbers suggest.

Probably is better than Chaisson, and worth a look imo, but I’m not sure he’s that much better or that he’s a fit.

Going into his age 29 season. He will make $18.39M this year in salary and $4M of that becomes guaranteed the 3rd day of the league year. Plus he has $510K in per game roster bonuses ($360K of that considered likely) and $100K workout bonus. Cap figure would be $18.85M on the deal as it is. He's under contract for the same figures in 2027 except no guarantee trigger and the cap impact of the per game incentives would fluctuate with how many games he plays this year. There's a void year on the deal in 2028 that wouldn't impact us because that's for pro ration of signing bonus MIN already paid, though if we converted any of his comp to signing bonus I believe it would count for us amortizing that.

Remember what you said to me when I wanted to talk about Doubs? My input was not requested nor valued. We are in the off-season. Your job is to tend your flock of cultists and stay in your lane.

I'm trying to be flexible.

Another name to add to the FA edge ramblings that we partake in. Arnold Ebekitie from the falcons, he is strictly a rotation guy
