No thanks Chubbs looks like he's on that RB Cliff.
He’s pretty well halfway down the cliff. He might still be a good short yardage guy, but I’d rather draft an RB or go with Jennings, for example, in that role. Maybe after the draft, if they don’t get an RB there, Chubb will be a consideration, but I doubt it.

We need to consider more than just the loss of Gibson when talking about drafting someone.
Rham was great after a rough start to the season, but he’s going into year 3 of his 4 year deal. Looks like there is an out after year 3.
Remember the “cheaper, faster, younger” mantra.
I would like Singleton in the 4th if he was available.
I like Rham, not saying we NEED to replace him, but we don’t just draft for next season, we look beyond, and beyond 2026 Rham may be replaced.

I think Rham plays out his contract. I do agree they are likely to look at someone on day 3.

Honestly not shocking to see it happen given his injury and where he was on the depth chart, but still kinda sucks to lose a guy who could give the offense a little spark when healthy. Hopefully he gets healthy and lands somewhere that actually uses him he’s definitely too good to just fade into nothing.

Could be, but I have a hard time thinking they're just in love with Larison. But I could be wrong.
If the team is so enamored with an UDFA who spent his rookie season on IR, then we need new folks in charge of player acquisition.

Larison should and will be given a chance. So, will the free agents and perhaps draftee.

They don’t have to be in love with him to hire him for the night, er season.

Serviceable RBs are not a premium item in today’s NFL. They have two front line backs already, so really they’re looking for the third member of the committee. That could be Larison, could be Jennings. Could be a rookie. I think that is the most likely list of contenders atm, unless a really great value FA comes along. That’s possible, because RBs are not exorbitantly expensive. We’ll know soon enough. But for now I’d reverse that order and say “rookie (draftee/UDFA) and perhaps FA”.
