Of note for us:

Akheem Mesidor - 18
Blake Miller - 23
Monroe Freeling - 24
Lee Hunter - 26
Keldric Faulk - 27

Peter Woods - 34
TJ Parker - 38
Max Iheanachor - 41
Malachi Fields - 45
Jake Golday - 47
Zachariah Branch - 48
Chris Bell - 50

Maki Lemon is his ranked WR, Ioane is at 11, Reese & Bailey are at 3 and 4 repectively.

It's funny, but we started off this draft process, when we thought we might be picking much higher, talking about Woods, Parker and Faulk and now all three are potentially in reach for us again.

Would take any of them.

There are always values in the draft.

2013 was an awful draft, but Jamie Collins, Travis Kelce, Tyrann Mathieu,
Terron Armstead, Keenan Allen, Brandon Williams and David Bakhtiari were all available outside of the top 50 picks. The Pats got Collins at 52 and took Logan Ryan at 83, Duron Harmon at 91 and Josh Boyce at 102.

Imagine:

52. Jamie Collins
59. Travis Kelce
Trade up from 83 to grab Keenan Allen
91. Brandon Williams
102. David Bakhtiari

That would have changed the NFL over the next decade.

FWIW, here are Jeremiah's initial top-50 from the past few years:

I would expect a lot of movement between now and the draft, and some surprises on draft day.
I can't speak to the 2024 one but aside from injury and charaxcter checks, he was pretty spot on with his 2025 one. Only Jack Sawyer, Farmer and Josaiah Stewart can really be considered misses.

He is very good, but there will be lots of movement:

#11 Shedeur Sanders slipped to 5th round
#12 Will Johnson slipped to mid-2nd based on medicals
#13 Jihaad Campbell slipped to 31 based on medicals
# 21 Nick Emmanwori slipped to #35
#23 Mike Green was a riser, then slipped to the late 2nd based on off-field/character issues
#28 Donovan Ezeiruaku went mid-2nd round based on size as a projected sub-rusher

This has nothing to do with Jeremiah, who is as good as it gets. It's just fairly predictable that any big board at this time will have inaccuracies with what transpires in April. Someone in Jeremiah's - or anyone else's - top 10 could drop off entirely, and someone outside the top 50 could end up in the 1st round.

The five surrounding our pick.

29. Cashius Howell
30. Caleb Lomu
31. Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
32. CJ Allen
33. Peter Woods

Needs aside and from a BPA perspective, those are some pretty good choices.

for me, the major options are (not in order)

1. trade up for Monroe Freeling
2. hope Mesidor falls
3. Pick from TJ Parker or Zion Young at 31
4. Trade back for Blake Miller or Iheanachor
5. Omar Cooper Jr as future Diggs replacement is interesting
6. BPA. Peter Woods or Mcneil-Warren?

There are merits to all those options.

At 63

Hurst, Rodriguez or Louis?

How do we get these four picks? Defensive depth/future sorted!

Thats gonna make for a very interesting 1st and 2nd round no doubt.
I want Louis badly but i dont how that is gonna happen.

And here i was thinking we could get Farmer in the 4th...oh well.

Brugler has a lot of guys 3rd round that I was praying to last longer. Brenen Thompson and Reggie Virgil go higher than I was hoping.

His "sweet spot" for me is:

70. Kyle Louis
73. Devin Moore
76. Keionte Scott
77. Treydan Stukes
79. Emmanuel Pregnon

Get an OT, and I'd trade my entire draft for 4 of those guys (Scott or Stukes). Sign an EDGE in FA and the defense would be top 4.

Pregnon seems to be falling on some boards, and a lot of people have Chase Bisontis higher.

Billy Schrauth is a sleeper to me. Have seen him sneak up on a few lists.

No Dametrious Crownover, DeZhaun Stribling, Charles Demmings.

Too many good prospects. I expect 20-30% of Brugler' 51-100 will slip into day 3. Here's Brugler's initial 2025 top 100, for comparison:

Lance Zierlein has 66 grades/scouting reports available.

He has Mansoor Delane as his 2 highest grade which is interesting because DJ has him ranked high too at 8th. The NFL guys are connected.

Mesidor is 19th. Boo.

Freeling, Iheanachor and Miller are all clustered in the forties. Lomu is 29.

Chris Brazzell is #29 which is about as high as I've seen. Peter Woods is #31.

DJ has upgraded his top 50.

Mesidor down two spot to 20.
Miller and Freeling down one spot each to 24 and 25 respectively.
Omar Cooper straight in at 19.
Iheanachor up 7 to 34.

I do like how prospects that work for the Pats in terms of need are congregating in the 20-40 range.

25 - Monroe Freeling
27 - Lee Hunter
28 - Keldric Faulk
31 - Caleb Lomu
32 - TJ Parker
34 - Max Iheanachor
36 - Caleb Banks

If that's anything close to how things play out, I would be thrilled. Embarrassment of riches.

Why is Caleb Banks so low? Character issues? Limited playing time in his final year?
