Craig was a good RB, but not HOF caliber. He's more known for fumbling in the 1991 NFC Divisional game against the Giants with less than 2 min to go as the Niners were trying to run out the clock, allowing the Giants to win (I was at that game). He's a Stevenson caliber back.

I don’t know man, I think he was the 1st back to have 1000 yards rushing and 1000 yards receiving in the same season (1985). Finished with 8199 yards rushing and 4911 receiving, and 73 total TDS. He was an all purpose beast. Led the league in receptions in 1985. In 1988 he was 1st team all pro and Offensive Player of the year. He’s WAY better than a Stevenson type back. He was a major part of winning 3 Super Bowls,
Yeah, I get the SOS argument, but they were 10-7 under McDonald last year.
The awards voted on before the playoffs. So technically the big argument is Coen turning the Jaguars from 4-13 to 13-4 to Vrabel turning the Patriots from 4-13 to 14-3.
Great shine more of a spotlight on him, Kraft pay that man his money and make him assistant HC.
He's a shoo in for Coach of the Year.
