It's been 3.5 hours.

And yet about 30 top free agents have already signed. I'm just saying that for the team with the most cap space in the league it's surprising that we haven't been out the blocks with at least one big deal. We were supposed to be major players. It might yet materialise but it's been a concerning start. Signing Ridley for example might convince others to join.

Maybe NE just isn’t a desired destination, crappy team and high taxes. Money talks yeah but other teams are spending big so maybe players just want to avoid this team.
Sadly I think this is a big factor. Bad team, inexperienced coach, bad practice facilities, no qb, no offensive line, poor climate and bad stadium

Who would choose that except for big $$ overpay

$17M AAV for McKinney. He's the top of the safety market so other guys will get less. Should be a good market.

Pats are finishing 4th in the division again next year, so no point spending big this offseason I guess? They have to at least sign a couple mid level deals to hit the cap floor, no?
I think they have to spend 90% of the cap, which I believe means they will need to spend 50-60 mm more this offseason.

This sentiment might make sense on day two or three. Currently, it's premature.

This is actually a legit good signing, Gibson is criminally underrated. I love Wolf's moves so far.

Thats some nasty piece of sarcasm there Ross. Congrats!

These IOL numbers are just silly. I don’t mean to offend anyone here by giving Bill credit but perhaps he knew that this was coming when three out of the first four picks on day 3 last year were IOL.

Perfectly normal and expected numbers (when broken down & considering cap raise) for top OL FA.
Theres a direct link between OL spenders and January teams .. but yeah, why pay for OL if it worked so great with scraps lately..

Most of the top names going into free agency at every position besides rb are still there.

I was interested in McKinney and Wilkins other than that all the players signed so far weren’t guys I targeted as making sense for the Pats.

Wanted McKinney, but that would be a lot of money tied up on safeties. There are other guys out there that should be a lot cheaper.

Also Gibson another good signing.

? Love his moves so far. He has signed 3 good players no. Dynamic offensive weapons.
Meh
