Mark Daniels on the fall of Mac Jones

Absolutely, correct! What I really believe is Bill felt like Mac showed him up by going to bama.. so it likely embarrassed Bill.. I agree with all.your other points as well. The relationship as a whole between coach and player just eroded. They likely felt they had trust between each other.
How much more proof do you need that he's a colossal crybaby who doesn't take responsibility for his own mistakes? This Daniels article is proof that he doesn't even now.

He was fine with MacD, it wasn't until the clowns came in when he looked for guidance, you blame him? It's his career and his living, he was trying to be better, not sure why that's a knock on him.
Take this article: he says he should've taken the sack because he had pressure in his face. He blames Vederian Lowe for triggering the outcome of the play. In reality, he had PLENTY of time to throw. He didn't need to take a sack. Gesicki was wide open. This is an example of refusing to be a leader, account for one's own actions, and instead scapegoating your own teammates.

I don't think anyone's arguing that, however we were discussing the whole story, I take things out of McDaniels story, the 2022& 2023 herald reports as well. They all are proof on all levels Mac wasn't the guy and organization failed to develop him.

That he was a team captain .... colossal mistake ... was Belichick stoned.

The guy that beat Lowe was literally less than 2 yards away from Jones when the ball came out. I don't think Jones said it caused the outcome of the play but there definitely was pressure.

I also have no idea wtf Strange was doing on the other side of the line. Looks like he was blocking his own linemate's ass. Lol. Your 2023 Patriots offense folks.

If he wasn't the guy, he couldn't be developed. The best thing to do was what the 9ers did, cut bait quickly. Yet that wasn't the option the team chose last summer

They did the best thing they could do which was show BB the door. The mess on offense is his doing.

Nah man apparently anyone can make any QB good by putting some of that magic development sauce on them

Ball is gone. Don't need a screenshot, look at the video. Plenty of time, guy scapegoated his line when the recevier is open and he can step up and throw. What a coward. No wonder Belichick was disgusted.

You're blind as a bat if you can't see Mac was the problem

The 9ners bungled the QB position as well, early on. having 3 QBs at one point a top draft pick, an often injured QB in Jimmy G that has gotten more contracts than any QB I can remember.. they took a chance on Purdy, PROPERLY developed him, surrounded him with real NFL talent and next thing you know they are in the superbowl. Mac should have pushed to be traded after his first season I'm sure Kraft nixed there idea. Just best for him and the organization to as you said " cut bait" .

Not arguing that, I'm talking about him looking for advice outside the organization last year.

A problem, not the problem.
It's the QB, the most important position in sports. He's unwilling to do the things that must be done, he can't lead, he's a soulsucker who stole the entire team's passion.

Ultimately plays a huge part on why Bill is jobless, the falcons were not willing to hand him the power he's had here. This offense needs to be built back from the foundation.

The GM allowed it, the GM put the team together, the GM put the roster in place. I don't care what is said about ownership..the GM is paid to make roster decisions Including the QB!!!!!

Yeah, that’s not what happened. They had no idea what they had in Purdy. All their QB were injured and they had to play him. They didn’t surrounded him with talent. It was already there.

In fact the notion that the 49ers build the roster first before the QB is completely false.

They got Jimmy G first. The only player they already had was Kittle who they drafted 6 month before in the 5th round. All the talent you see now has been added after they got Jimmy for Jimmy.
