Just one question, how did the Browns beat the Ravens and we couldn't ?

There are some that wanted him long before the draft (me). QB is the most important position by far. Its worth the gamble. Compared to say, RB lol, it's a 100% more important. Last year is the perfect example of "you dont need a great RB if you have a great OL".

Anyway we could have showcased Lamar & got picks. Sit, teach & groom.

And lastly, Lamar ran variations of the ****in EP in college. Saying he couldn't run our offense might be the dumbest **** you could say.

And hes running another offense now. So the thought or idea that's he some dumb, running QB is as false as it comes. He's 22 years old & seemingly leading his team to the playoffs for the 2nd year in a row. In year 2, much more important than 1.

"Dumbest ****" is a pretty big stretch, calm down there big guy. Gonna take a wild guess here and say you read to heavily into my post while also project some anger you have about people talking bad about Jackson. Also, that being said, he's not anything to write home about in terms of passing, and is somewhat far from it. The moment his legs diminish, I guess just hope that his passing improves dramatically. Dude is a baller for the time being, though. He doesn't need to be a laser right now.

Also, you did nothing to counter my third point lol. :)

Those "one or two sportswriters" are as much in the dark as you are. I'll say it again: Harry plays WR, not TE. They are two COMPLETELY different positions with COMPLETELY different assignments. Once he gets up to speed Harry MIGHT approximate some of what Josh Gordon did. He sure as hell is not a Gronk replacement and would never take reps away from Watson.
So you think Harry couldn't have done at least as well as Watson did at blocking? Perhaps you think that there are routes that Watson ran that Harry couldn't? Just because he has the label of WR doesn't mean he can't fulfill other roles. In case you haven't noticed, this team does that every now and then. We have a "running back" who every now and then lines up as a WR - he did so tonight with some success.

People will talk about how the pats can’t stop running teams. 200 plus yards on the ground is pathetic. They basically whipped you in the trenches.

Fixed it for you.
Agreed. I think Sony Michel is okay. He is basically as good or bad as his offensive line. Even when they are playing well I don't think he looks like anything special though. Average back.

Because the Browns are the Browns, and everyone treats playing the Pats like a big game. Quite hilarious

lol

Well I knew 19-0 was a pipe dream but it still sucks to get that first loss. Not the end of the world. Moving on.

NFL football is a war game. 16 regular season skirmishes. The object is to win enough battles to make the post season and gain a strategic position.
At 8-1 going into the bye, even Sun Tsu would be satisfied.

To be fair, blocking on the line and understanding complicated blocking schemes is a farcry from throwing a block as a WR. Even if you convert Harry to a TE to have line blocking responsibilities, it's a tall task to get him up to snuff on that.

They don’t need a great LT. Newhouse is just so, so bad.
Got to believe that Cunningham must be viewed as the absolute drizzling sh*ts to be inactive at OT every game following week 1.

Metcalf was the #1 rated WR for the 2019 draft, by virtually ALL the prognosticators. And the crazy thing was he fell in the draft because of injury concerns, yet Harry hasn’t seen the field yet (due to injuries).
That's not accurate. He was not the consensus WR1 and there was nothing crazy about the injury concerns. The guy broke his neck and foot in college

He must be really ****ing bad to be behind Newhouse.

I sense that you are filled with furious anger and great vengeance, Ezekiel...:D

This is what you wrote

"he would be on the bench because he would look bad in our offense, that's being ran because brady is the starter
4 - he would get f*cked by our offensive line lol. which sucks to say lol."

Its not true & makes little sense considering Jackson ran the EP in college.

Have any opinion you want. Saying he'd look bad in our offense is ridiculous if you watched him or knew what type of system he ran. Its not my or anyone's opinion, he ran the EP.

Tired and had a few beers tonight so not much to say.

Bet this humbled the defense.

Glad Sanu is coming along. We will need him.

Not mad at Jules. 3 seasons without a lost fumble as a slot receiver is pretty amazing. Shame it came tonight.

Can’t wait for Wynn to come back.

The **** birds will get mauled in Foxboro come January.

Edit to my last line - that is IF they make it that far because some one, on some team, will eventually knock Jackson’s block off running around like that. I may be bitter but it’s only a matter of time.

I hope this isnt 2015 all over again. There is no margin for error anymore because we only have a 1 game lead on baltimore. The best way to get the bad taste of this game out of our mouths is to beat the sht out of the eagles. I have waited a year and a half for that game.

Lamar had the highest ypa against us all year at 7.1.

Anyone saying that Brady looked bad tonight should get their eyes checked. He threw a bad INT, while under pressure thanks to Newhouse (I believe). Other than that I thought he looked good. Brady is doing about as well as he could with the disaster that is this OL.
