I got it!!! We'll hire GOOGLY GASE!!! OG OG OG J-T-S-E!!!

you jete morons deserve every bite of that perpetual shyt sandwich you eat every weekend of the season

Your cryptic acronyms "PSH" and "SMH" -- what do they mean? You're the only one here using jetespeak so you can't assume everyone understands it. We can only guess: maybe "postscript here" and "superior material however"? "
Psh is that noise you make when someone says something stupid, or in his case JETE like, and you disagree with it. Think like opening up a can of soda pshhhh. As for SMH that’s Smack My Head or again as his case is different, asking for another of your patiented kicks to his “little head”.

Then he needs to quit football, or get traded. The situation with his spleen is just a distraction.
He needs to quit football. From Buttfumble to Spleengate, the Jete and USC quarterbacks are a match made in hell.

This is one of my favorite stats ever.
The jete hire the offensive genius who never really has had any success and through his first 5 games not only are they dead last in offense, but the 17th ranked offense, that is the first one that is below average has more than DOUBLE the total offense yards per game.

A close second, in 4 games the jete have scored 2 offensive TDs.
The consensus worst team ever, the 76 bucs score 14 in 14 games.
The rich kotite jets scored 52 offensive TDs in 32 games, 225% more per game than the gase jets.

See answer in bold.

They had actual hope this year! It looked good for about 2.5 quarters. It's hilarious.

Gardner Minshew vs. Kyle Allen right now is showing that a well built team and well coached backup QB with talent can play entertaining productive offensive football.
Looks like da Jete had the answer on their roster already, Teddy Bridgewater.

Instead of trading two second rounders to move up for Spleen Boy, all they had to do was use the draft and free agency capital to get some better offensive linemen, then you'd have them plus Teddy, Le'Veon, and a few decent WRs to build something with.

Da Jete have put so much draft capital in D linemen and safeties which are not going to win ball games for you, you gotta score points to win. So many first round picks spend on D linemen who no longer play for da Jete or are no longer in the NFL. It's a big reason why the circle of suckage continues for da Jete with no end in sight.

The Jete would be competent with Bridgewater and a good offensive line. But no, Goofy Woody gave marching orders to draft a "franchise" quarterback so they could sell tickets and what they got was another USC bust who chases high school girls. Meanwhile, their second-consecutive No. 3 overall pick -- DT Sneezy Quinine -- can't even get on the field. And safety Jamal "Punk" Adams has begun a calculated process to shoot his way out of town. Just when you thought this moronic franchise couldn't get more hilariously dysfunctional, they find ways to surprise and delight.

I'll always say that the 2017 Jets had the most fascinating set of options ahead of them of any franchise in recent history. Tons of cap space, no mandate whatsoever to win (in fact a fanbase which was all-in for a tank to get a franchise QB) no holdover "talent" that you had to build around, the draft picks available to go after almost any QB that draft or the next draft. It's a true blank slate with near limitless possibility.

I won't blame any team in particular for not recognizing the talent of Mahomes and Watson. Too many other teams missed as well, so let's just credit KC and Houston for their foresight. But to use the draft capital on Jamal Adams, a strong safety who does not lift the play of anyone around him. Basically Pat Chung with good PR and maybe 5-10% "better".

If you go back in time to 2017 and replay draft and personnel decisions and there are so many paths to having at average to good personnel by now, even assuming you don't know in advance that Alvin Kamara is godly and Mahomes is MVP level, JuJu Smith-Schuster, etc. Trade back in 2017 like the Bills did and you could take Ryan Ramczak at OT or OJ Howard at TE, Dalvin Cook in the 2nd. And extra draft capital next year. And then the QB they take in 2018 has infrastructure around him. That might be Allen, Rosen, or Jackson but we now know that Darnold is not clearly above any of them at this point.

If they bit the bullet and took Mahomes or Watson in 2017 and if they didn't improve their record the first year, then in 2018 they may be in the position to take G Quenton Nelson in the first and they don't have to cash in three 2nd round picks.

This is of course assuming they wouldn't totally ruin a Mahomes or Watson. Of course, that's not a safe assumption.

100% chance they’d ruin Watson

80% chance they’d ruin Mahomes, relegating him to some circus act where he has immense natural abilities but can’t translate it to the pro game

Can't blame 'em, if it weren't for the entertainment factor would we?
Other fans feel bad for Jete fans, that's cause they don't know em like we do.
