Whuh whuh huhhhh...?!??

While I still see NE as winning the inevitable grievance, Wallach has a point. NE can (rightfully) claim they didn’t know about the rape lawsuit when they signed him but they will have a hard time claiming they cut him because of the rape lawsuit.

Claiming they didn't know about the lawsuit could be argued as not doing their homework, which is not the fault of AB.

They cut him because of the texts which was a clear violation of the agreement.

There are several teams I hope the walking hand grenade joins....

10 years in the league. How many Super Bowl rings has he won?

My only sympathy for him is if it is because of the Burfickt hit/CTE. Then it’s just a very tragic case of head injury. He’s barely mentally competent right now.

I hope he finds the right helmet.

I don't see why they just didn't keep him and let it play out. If we were gonna have to take the cap hit either way than I'd rather take it and have a chance of having the best wr in the league in the playoffs.

The unsolicited group text with all it included was it.

The only investigation that the Pats had to wait for was when he showed up at One Patriot Place on Friday and BB asked him “Is she making up the texts or is that you?”. When he affirmed it was him, it was all over.

I agree with releasing him. It had to be done. My cousin thinks the Pats should've held onto him to avoid the possibility of him ending up in KC.

If he ends up on KC, we aren't going to the SB this season. Not even a defense as great as ours would have a chance at stopping them.

They're not going to take a cap hit, though the savings will be pushed until next year.

AB clearly violated the agreement with the texts and the Patriots clearly intended to honor the agreement (meaning AB's behavior going forward) by playing him last week

The best thing to happen would be for KC to pick him up. Mahomes will be able to keep him in line much better than Brady. Same with Andy Reid instead of Belichick.

And don’t get me started on how the chemistry with Hill, Watkins and loose cannon Kielce would progress as he takes touches away from them. Also let him ****** the development of Robinson and Hardman!!!!

Please God, let KC pick up the grenade!!!!!! Now THERE’s a franchise that has done a great job keeping their superstars in line the past 11 months!!! :D

Regardless, my cousin thinks releasing him was dumb because of this reason. Watkins, Hill, AB, and Kelce on offense. How does a defense stand a chance? Mahome boy at QB.

You can say that about a lot of star wideouts. Some guys where not happy with his release. This will quiet down and if the nfl doesn’t find anything he will be playing for another team. You know how many a holes are playing in the nfl now? It’s about what kind of talent you bring to the field.

Your cousin is FFL?

In the real world my post above gave you all the info why I am completely rooting for KC to take him on.

We’ll see.

Which ones?

How many Super Bowl rings do they have?

You’re taking your eye off the goal. (As long as were not talking FFL, that is).

By the way, your last sentence in that post reveals how little you know of one of the central tenets of Belichicks thinking. You joined this site the day after Brown came aboard. It’s obvious why you think this way. You’re talking to a lot of people, though, who have witnessed the past 20 years and your proclamation is hilarious.

Your reasoning for them taking him is the possibility he messes up. If he does they just release him. On the field?

Can someone be so tone deaf and non contrite? All of this is literally on him! If he doesnt create a distraction in oakland he makes his 30million. If he can just keep his mouth shut for 11 days, he makes his 9million from New England.

But of course as a typical narcissist it's someone else's fault.
