I hear you. I am just irate right now. Incensed even.

It bothers me to no end that women can just do this to men. And then when we react, we're the bad guys. They don't have to be held accountable, but we do. They don't get **** on for their actions. Women support each other, lock-step. But men have to stand alone, fighting against women AND men.

I'm not going to be that guy. I usually don't speak up on topics like this, but I am seeing a clear injustice here and people are just complicit. At this point, it's not even because he was a Patriot. Yes, he's an idiot, and sure he probably brought these things on himself by associating with these women.

But my god, are only men not allowed to make mistakes? A text message cost this man a Super Bowl. Incredible.

The woman in the SI article filed no charges, filed no suit, wasn't named, and wasn't looking for any money from anyone.

Brown's texts to her - group texts - were threats.

Maybe you should try being "that guy." Brown's a piece of ****.

This was a colossal **** up handing out that contract if the Patriots get zero cap space now even after cutting him

Colossal f up would be if they paid $9m for 1 game. They paid nothing and will get credited back the entire amount just not all of it for 2019. It was worth the punt at no cost so far.

Women didn't do this to him, the jackass did it to himself. All he had to do was ALLOW THE LAWYERS, PR TEAM, AGENT THAT HE IS PAYING A LOT OF MONEY FOR TO DO THE JOB THAT THEY ARE GETTING PAID FOR. That is all he had to do, and he is too much of a headcase to stop.

Stop. Frickin. Yelling.

Well if he couldn’t make it work here chances are slim he will make it work anywhere else.

At least now we can get back to how we honestly felt about him

Patriots beat cancer.

Andy you could be right who knows with this crazy drama. I think the
Patriots had to release him to protect their brand. Up until the latest tweet they could say it was not under their watch. This one was. They come out looking like they did the right thing. My guess is the NFL is going to have to follow suit or their brand is going to take a hit now that the team that keeps their players in line could not corral him. I think it might be what both of us has implied. This kid is off the rails
I really don’t think sending a text message that gets complained about is a branding issue. Besides it doesn’t unhappiness when you release him.
If you are saying they gauged his attitude as believing the problems would continue I’m with you there.

It's a very good O and a GREAT D. Fix the OL and they'll still go 14-2 and be ready for the playoffs.

.

.

I don’t think we are going 14-2. I am thinking more 12-4 or 13-3 maybe. We will lose a couple of games.

So what about our cap space going forward? Any chance at going for an OT?

One game dude. The potential with brown would have been off the charts. You know they’re one relapse from Gordon to being average at the wr position with just one wideout and a number 4 wr and a bunch of unproven wideouts.

They've won SB's with less. Maybe you should have someone tell you about it.

The real problem is the OL. But you Fantasy League kids wouldn't understand.

.

.

If Ancient History Jason Witten can come back and play, I’m sure gronk can. I mean he didn’t rule it out.

When the noise gets too loud and never-ending for even the most focused coach on the planet to ignore it, then the problem needs to go away.

It is what it is.
