Many people feel that an over-correction is necessary. This isn't my opinion, it's just one of the contributing factors in why these contemporary judgements are coming so swiftly and harshly.

To clarify, its off to the gallows unless its one of their own then its we shouldn't rush to judgement.

If he gets placed on the Exempt List, does that count as retroactive time served in the event of suspension? Or is that just non-recoverable time? It would screw the team more than the player (since then player is paid while on the Exempt List.)

Getting put on the exempt list because it's the Pats even though it's a civil case...who knows when and if he plays for us
There are no rules. When personal conduct is involved it's whatever Roger wants to do. It's in writing from the Federal Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, for god's sake. NE fans if anyone should know that.

He’s going to practice. He’s going to play. Now your move Goodell.

So, did Belichick say if he knew about the accusations before the signing?

it is very possible that the "victim" has made up the everything that suggests anything was against her will
That doesn’t have anything to do with those two stories.

Bill doesn't give a ****. Love it.

Until hes in jail, dead or the league tells him he cant play hes playing.
If AB is able to play dude is going to be extra motivated to have an amazing season! Not to mention he's a huge ratings/social media draw right now! The NFL would be foolish to suspend him any time soon

Another tidbit in the lawsuit

The lawsuit also included a paper trail of purchased STD and pregnancy test from Walgreens after the incidents.

So she saved receipts of std & pregnancy tests? But she couldn't go to the cops? std and pregnancy tests receipts don't prove anything. She was of full mind to take std & pregnancy tests but not a rape kit?

More I read of this complaint, the going back to his house the next day, the polygraph, the saving receipts, that phony address, painting herself as a church goer, the timing of the lawsuit, coincidentally getting married right after she filed this.

I don't want to say it didn't happen because I don't know but these are all red flags for me.

According to his lawyer this women wanted him to invest $1,600,000 in her gymnast business for black girls and when he had his lawyer look into it he found out that the $1,600,000 was for buying the property that the women and her mom currently own (on loan) and have an outstanding $30,000 tax lien on. He backed out and she went after him and likely used this opportunity to try and make him settle on a small $75,000 cash grab rather then lose millions in his new job.

He also showed and proved that after the last offense in which she claims he actually raped her that she messaged him numerous times and visited his house after hours some times as late as 2:00am and traveled to 4 cities with him as well as continued to promote him on her social media . It wasnt until he refused to invest in her business and buy the property she is going to lose that she turned sour .

In other news......Manish Mehta, NY's version of our own Ben the MCI is tweeting out THIS this morning. What a dope: :D

Hey we gave them something to brag about.

Still see a bunch of BS personal attacks on this woman intended to completely undermine her character. Because she's getting married she's clearly only in it for money? Seriously? Can we stop that garbage?

It's no different than immediately jumping to the conclusion that Brown is rapist scum, and using elements of his life/behavior not directly related to this incident as evidence that he's unethical and dishonest. They're both terrible takes.

If Taylor's gym and wedding are evidence that she's being dishonest and hunting money with this lawsuit, then is Brown's behavior in Oakland, and his texts/emails to Taylor, evidence that he's not credible? Again, both ends of the spectrum are equally disingenuous.

Let the evidence play out before vilifying either party and reaching conclusions that are entirely based on assumption/speculation, and not evidence

I have gone from I don't care to friggin pissed over this entire event.
This guy is a complete douche bag. Cut him BB, he is not worth keeping.

Nothing like a good ol fashioned BB press conference

Rosenhaus on ESPN now:

- Says they were anticipating the lawsuit
- Fully denies AB did it
- Claims there's evidence and facts that will come to light that will prove innocence
- Calls it a money grab
- Has spoken with NFLPA, not NFL
- AB will fully cooperate
- Does not mention if they talked with NE about this before signing
