Id lean more towards us getting the bye than not, even if Houston gets by Philadelphia, jax can be a great spoiler situation. Jax did beat indy a couple weeks back who is red hot.

The Jets may just play spoilers for us in week 17. They took Houston to the wire. Thankfully Crowell is done for the season, but you never know.

Bills' run-D is still top-10 in yds/game and yds/carry.
Bills' pass-D is:
- yds/game .. #1
- yds/att ... #3
- QB rtg .... #7
- INTs ...... #12
- comp% ..... #16

The JETE run-D is still bottom 1/3rd in yds/game and mid-pack in yds/carry.
The JETE pass-D is:
- comp% ... #4
- QB rtg .. #9
- INTs .... #9 (t)
- yds/att . #13 (t)
- yd/game . #19

Neither the Bills nor the Jets have much of anything left to lose. The Jets are currently on pace for a top-5 pick in the draft. The Bills are currently in the group from #6 to #11.

True but at least thats a game we control.

I don't think any Pats coach has covered himself with glory this year.

Player personnel dept hasn't had it easy this year, either.

Lose two veteran candidates for #3/#4 passing target, PLUS a 1st-round OT/OG during Camp.
Lose a top ST/reserve-RB to an offer from a division rival.
Lose a top RB in week-1, then another top RB & passing tgt in week-3 (for half the season), PLUS a starting rookie LB in wk-3.

Lots of 2-3 game injuries for other key players.

Don't take either the Bills or Jets game for granted. The Patriots have shown that they can lose to anybody this year.

Pats are at home. I don’t expect a loss in either game.

I want to be happy we go back home for 2 games against 2 celldwellers... but I’m still just perpetually annoyed this season at this team. Pretty much me all season:

Thank the Lord. No Fouts.

We get my guy Greg Gumbel.

This is not Dante’s best year coaching the OL...

Thought Trent Brown was having a good year until yesterday. Cannon was just flat out Bad! and the dumb penalties on both that killed drives. I hope Brady don't get em any Rolex Watches.

My game plan for Buffalo:

- CONTAIN JOSH ALLEN. Make him throw the ball or hand it off.

- Grind out yardage on the ground and reestablish the play action.

- Use James White A LOT more.

Some fans might take these last two games for granted, but the Patriots certainly won't. It's never their style to disrespect an opponent and as we've all seen, and mostly, THEY'VE seen, any given Sunday. They need to get back to good fundamentals. Playing disciplined, playing up-tempo, creative play-calling, involving everyone, tackling properly etc. Basically what you saw in the Minnesota game. They can't do anything about the talent they don't have, this is the group they've got and they're going to live or die with it. But they CAN do something about good, sound fundamentals. Coaches and players who've been associated with good teams will all say the same thing, it starts and ends with the little things. When the Patriots play good fundamental football, the result seems to take care of itself. I predicted a Steelers win this weekend, and I also predicted that if the Pats lost, almost everyone would write them off. It's going to be more of an uphill battle than we would have liked, but with this group, who's faced more adversity in big situations than any other group in the NFL the past couple years, you can't ever count them out until the clock hits 0:00 and they have fewer points than their opponent in the last game of the year.

How are the Pats below a Hunt-less KC when they beat KC with Hunt?

The KC offense is much more consistent than the Pats and don’t seem to be missing Hunt much, if at all.

Also, the game will be in KC and the Pats are putrid on the road

Pats defense got thrashed by crap offenses like Tennessee and Miami and you think it matters that KC is on their 2nd and 3rd string backs? You’ve seen what trash RB’s have done to this defense lately, yes?

Almost literally any NFL RB could run for 5 yards a pop against the dumpster fire front 7 right now.

KC just put up 442 yards and 27 points on a tough Baltimore D and dropped 28 on a tough Chargers D

The Pats have scored 16 points in their past 6 quarters of play, against two mediocre to awful defenses.

Laughable that anyone would put the Pats in the Chiefs’ class even with the narrow win earlier this year. The Pats look like garbage right now and the Chiefs remain hot. Sure, the Chiefs D stinks but that doesn’t seem to make much difference considering the Pats struggle to find any semblance of offensive consistency.
