B.G.C. 2019 NFL Draft/Patriot-Type Players Thread

Thought you might like this one, @BaconGrundleCandy

Saw this earlier, good stuff, always like to hear from Mark. Keep it coming.

Work's been rough but here's info, strengths/concerns, background on 50 players that caught my eye so far.

Let me know what you think. Any suggestions for content you want, please let me know.

Hopefully will have a pod coming in the future.

Couple of diff pov from Bentley to Deebo. Perfect illustration of why so many are high on Jake Bentley. This play really sums up why you like him & what type of QB he is. Arm talent (strength + accuracy + placement) , mobile w/ eyes down field, the ability to throw on the move. Seems like a nice guy & pretty genuine person from what I've gathered?

My goodness this wr class is just freaky. Few guys that I've watching for a min. Harry esp. feel like ive been watching him for years now.

Keep an eye on this big fella

Nice double swat here.

Dip & Rip but he had a good angle & just blew by him 1/2 man. Terrible set by OL & pp by Lock

Strong, active hands. Some push/pull

Very nice patience

great extension or lower half power here. Looks like a long arm while using his other arm to disengage.

The rush class this year is absurd. There are so many good looking prospects with size and skill. Ferrell, Bosa, Jackson, Omenihu, Ferguson, Allen, Bryant, Gary, Miller, Sweat, Nelson -- and those are probably all top 64 players if they continue to produce. I'm sure a few dark horse candidates will emerge, as well.

No reason to read when you give away the important stuff lol

I Burns could have a year. Actually a pleasant surprise watching him. Nelson is another guy I'll keep an eye on, along with the QB there

Another guy that has so much potential

Long, lean, good looking athlete. At times Jelks has explodes off the line. Would like him play a lil lower. Plays a lil high, tall but could improve there. I think that would help him a lot w/ giving nothing for the OL to touch. Strength has to improve but in the few games Ive seen live & watched he's not weak. Guy is always aware, getting his hands up even if he doesn't get the pass knocked down. He's def an edge player w/ that body. He matches those numbers or passes them from inside & you might have something.

Drew Anderson is now playing for Murray St. Lil surprised he didnt get a better offer but it is kinda late for college standards. He's def someone to watch.

Watching Jones I can't help but think of Manning with his feet firing/base & throwing motion. Not comparing them as players but the look identical at times.

I've talked to a bunch of guys that either got signed as udfa, a few drafted but I really thought Brown would have got an invite by now. Just on his football IQ alone. Very smart guy that breakdowns each opponent, made a ton of plays (14 INTs) & some versatility in the secondary. 5'11/190.

6'6/220+ Johnson has shown the ability to get off press but also make that back shoulder or in some cases "over the back" type catches around & over defenders. Doesn't mind getting physical at the line, threw a few quick strikes at his mans shoulders. Decent jab, stutter for a big man. Always love when a guy reaches out & plucks it out the air. Very comfortable in those situations. Has some shake in the open field. Like all guys his size you want to see more speed & separation, if he can do that this year, he'll be a day1/2 pick.

I could a lot of nice RB's falling next year bc their not "big/bigger" backs. Who knows?

DM has some power, wiggle & balance though. This guy is for real. VG contact balance.

My all time fav. The goat. We'll never see Moss again. Also I have to lol when people say he couldn't run routes. Nothing he couldn't do. We'll never see the speed, quicks, jumping ability, body control, hands & on & on again.

lol look at how much space he gains.

This is against Winny who was a great player. Very physical CB.

Also if anyone is interested I'm looking to start a fantasy/dynasty league. Might not be for everyone but pm for details.
