Has Ben Practiced this week? Bell? That has to be good news for us.

Who are the 15 with a stomach flu?

There aren't 15 players who currently have the stomach flu. That was a comment made by a rookie on the number of people he assumes who have been affected since the Miami game (past 2 weeks).

Wednesday's report listed 4 backups as out with illness, but those same 4 backup players were back at practice the very next day on Thursday.

LeVeon Bell missed due to the birth of his girlfriend's baby (or other personal reason not related to injury). Roethlisberger likely won't even be on the final injury report (nor will Bell be), since neither of them missed due to injury.

It was even said that the 15 included people who worked at the stadium (not players). The injury report is clear, and shows all Steeler starters have participated fully (I am assuming Green remains out), while (as I reported earlier in this thread) the Patriots have not had a full practice yet this week from Amendola, Hogan, Bennett, Hightower, Mitchell, Bolden or Sheard. I would not be surprised if some (if not most) of these players are listed on today's report as questionable for Sunday. I expect most will still play, but just how well remains to be seen. According to the injury report at least, the Steelers are in better shape health-wise than the Patriots.

I'm convinced that people see what they want to see in order to feel more confident. :)

Here's BB talk on PS today. Another reason for bringing back Brissett.
___
“You talk to your players about the way that they play. You try to get your players to simulate that... Our practice squad players do a great job. The guys who have those roles in practice, they do a great job of trying to do that. The quarterbacks. Being the other team’s quarterback. All the other positions trying to simulate it the best they can. Whether it’s [Stephon] Tuitt, [Javon] Hargrave, [Ramon] Foster, [Maurkice] Pouncey. It’s the same for all of them. It’s not just the running back, but it’s the running back too.”
___

“They know our every F play..“

BB: These guys definitely have it.

“It’s important for the unit to have a good passion for each other and confidence in each other, so that’s how you play aggressively and that’s how you play well, so however that comes together,” Belichick said. “Each unit is different, each make-up of the chemistry of the players and all of that is different. I don’t try to control that. You put players together and you hope that they have a good chemistry based on the type of players that you’ve put together on that team or that unit. These guys definitely have it. Defensively, they have a good attitude, they have a good competitive spirit. They play the game with a passion and a purpose. So, yes, you want that. Absolutely.”

People disagreeing with facts without offering any evidence further supports this confirmation bias.

Id guess they did (try to) address this over the week..

Full disclosure, one of the guys on the podcast is a Jets fan. Don't know if it's the one who handles the Twitter account, but just putting it out there.

No-one other than Bedard has said anything about this, who knows how accurate it is :
