From the pocket, which I mean by “thrower,” yeah, he is. Another high-grader is Rattler. Penix doesn’t have the off-platform whiz-bang, but from the he’s the best thrower pretty much everywhere you look.

And maybe…maybe hit on him. And much more likely, he won’t be nearly as good as Brown.

I count 3, but one, QB, is absolutely critical, and another, high-end WR, hard to come by, and another, LT, tough to find. And all three are really expensive.

I don't think he will, but he grew up a Patriots' fan (still cannot f***ing believe they didn't draft him!). Yes, the Eagles might win another Super Bowl, but their window might be closing - they had a lot of older players there. I know most of this board thinks the Pats are 52 players away...

If they rate the six QBs (or the 5 who might be there) closely, then trading down is absolutely an option. If they had the #1 pick, take Williams (unless they hate his attitude).

So the guy who is consensus the best thrower in the class has the lowest floor and the lowest ceiling? Well okay, then.

He might not be the best in the class, but I think he’s the best that’ll be there when the Pats pick.
