Why not, this kid would give you alot more than Evans would and that's how we find a roster spot for this kid.

Maybe "we" can have him play nose tackle while "we're" at it.

Maybe we should puthim on the practice squad. Sorry I ment they , "they" should' not me as in we as in you as in we, but them of course.

Ray Ventrone is a puppy dog Rudy who plays WR and S and S/Ts. He can't play FB. This isn't Div. III college. He's not playing for F-ing TUFTS.

i think Ventrone should backup Seymour IMO FWIW.

What's with the continued hate on Heath Evans? Heath will make this team and be a big contributor, end of story. HEEEEAAAATH!!!

well when they move Ventrone to Fullback, i heard whispers that they are planning on moving Heath Evans to cornerback to replace Ellis Hobbs. He's just too short.

No way, DW Toys said it's a lock he goes to safety to replace Sanders. Which obviously frees up Sanders to replace Hobbs, 'cause he's all kinds o'tall and we know that's the most important thing about CBs.

I heard Ventrone was actually moving up to Head Coach.

Slow Sunday perhaps? :help:

he isn't gonna be fullback, but he has alot of versaitility and i like what he's done as a wr on underneath routes. i'd like to see the kid make the 53 and be given a chance during the regular season.

Why couldn't he play fullback?, BB is the perfect guy to take a guy like this and turn him into a fullback, I bet he can block every bit as good as Heath Evans with much better hands and a legitimate threat in the flat. I'm kind of sick of those wasted Heath Evans 1 yard in a cloud of dust fullback off tackle calls as well has Heath getting blown up by LB's that stare at LM as soon as he gets the handoff, kind of sick of it.

I think as certain as TB will be the #1 QB, Evans will be the FB.

Ventrone is 5-10, 200 lbs; I doubt he could ever pull it off physically. Even if he could, the transition from WR to FB right now would take way too long to even entertain the idea. He simply wouldn't be of very much use for a while at the position.

Frankly, this is a terrible idea.

I had to wait to see if you were serious.

I hereby nominate the post below as one of the worst analyses of the year. To be clear, I bet that Ventrone doesn't block as well as Heath Evans.

he's listed at 5'10 200 pounds. he could be used as a fullback but evan is a far better blocker with better size. i'd rather see evans as the fullback in goal line. i think evans has earned his spot on the team
