This Team Sucks this Preseason

I don't think they're going to win a game this preseason. What a disappointment!

Recognizing your sarcasm - they were 0-2 at this time last year also. The games were closer but Brady had thrown 26 passes in two games compared to none this year.

I would say that's a fair assessment so far.

Like I said in another thread.....

The Dolphins were 2-0 at this time last year and looked great,Lemon looked like the next coming of Marino - I think Aqua4ever was having a hard-on at this very time last year

Then they went 0-2 the next 2 preseason games and finished 1-15 on the
season

So goes the true importance of preseason records

Sarcasm noted. The record or even the play is of little concern in these pre-season games.

Injuries are another matter. We could use a little better luck in that dept. IMO. The Meriweather injury is a concern, at least at the moment.

I remember some dude starting a post last year that said the Pats were over as a franchise, cuz they sucked in a preseason game. Matter of fact, it might have even been right after the first preseason game. Anyhow, the Pats ended up going 18-0 before.... The point is, as awful & disgusting as they looked tonight (and they look extremely awful and disgusting I tell ya!), it's only preseason. My only concern is how slow they look at times on the defensive side of the ball. Of course, that was mine concern last year at this point too.

Hi! Time Traveller JSP here - it's 2004 and the team's only 1-3 in the pre-season. We really looked like crap against the Bengals (3-31) and Jaguars (0-31)

Should I be worried?

I didn't even realize they were playing until flipping the channels. The backup center immediately high snapped the ball over Cassel which was picked up for a Tampa Bay TD. I immediately changed the channel.

Preseason football......YAWN

I know it's not, but I always think of Beeker from the Muppets when I see that sig.

Anyways, no matter how awful they look, I tend not to be overly concerned about the pre-season. This is the time to suck, so they might as well get it out of their systems. The only thing that does concern me is injuries, which seem to be far too common at this point.
