Old age showing with Favre

I think his age is showing in more ways than one: "Look, I'm not here to take Chad's spot or replace him or whatever"

He's not? Does he think they signed him as a punt returner?

Re: Semi-OT: Lord Favre feeling "fatigued"

.....

He can probably feel the Pats' sacks already. Our D will pummel him and he knows it. I have a feeling the Pats have the Jets' game circled, in neon red, on their calendars. Kraft and the league LOVE this rivalry, and we don't like the Jets too much. The Lord better buck up

True that but moreover his other rival D's ain't gonna be much fun for him either. He's old, confused, slow and he has to learn an entirely new offense.
He might even be frightened a bit.

Yeah, I liked the blatant irony in that statement too.

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but :singing:

It's getting interesting-I wonder how this really will play out. Mangini's got to be squirming Good times ahead, methinks.

... And that's another good point.
Where is Mangini in all this?
Did I read that he said he did not know where Favre was at?
What!? Coach Eric, you haven't even seen the new franchise take snaps yet?

Damn Favre. Why did you do this? He probably wished he stayed retired right now.

I am not going to speculate on how he will do this season but he does not appear to me to be comfortable.

Mangini's reaction IS curious, isn't it. LMAO seriously, I can't imagine Mangini being too pleased with Favre's public complaints of "fatigue". I mean sweetjezuz didn't they hold a rally or a parade or something just to honor Brett's arrival? The next thing you know he's b*tching and moaning about fatigue, and he hasn't even played a meaningful down yet.

My bet is Mangini had NO idea what a drama queen he's got. This incessant bs is going to go on all season long, and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy

Well I'll speculate then..... He's going to suck, Tannenbaum and Mangini will be fired and I'm going to laugh.
I hope.

You might be right...LOL

On the brightside he is selling a ton of jerseys.

On the brightside he is selling a ton of jerseys.

Which, because of the CBA, means the Patriots get as much of that as the JEST.
