How is it? I've been to several games in the past, always sitting. Just bought some standing room tix for the pats/eagles preseason game, how are they? Recommend getting their early for better areas?

Bold, underline, and add an exclamation point to that. And don't even think of leaving for a beer/hotdog/piss during the game.

Noted...I'm goin with a buddy, i guess we'll alternate on runs

I have gone to several games with standing room tickets. The best places to stand are in the end opposite the light house on either side of the scoreboard, either where the banners are (any level) or on the other side of the scoreboard. There is some room to lean against the wall/railing there. There is a red line about 1 1/2 feet back from the railing in front of you which the staff makes sure you stay behind, which can be a little uncomfortable if you don't like standing more or less perfectly still.

For a preseason game, I doubt it will be terribly crowded for the majority of the game.

There was only SRO tickets available for a preseason game? Man, that's crazy.

My friend went to the Dolphins game last year with SRO. He also said to go with a friend for beer/food/potty breaks.

No - just found a good deal - $25 a piece....Not quite willing to fork over 100+ for reg seats for a preseason game

By second half at the latest you should be able to snag some seats.

Just make sure that the Ommissioner and his men don't see you miscreants cheering and standing at the same time...

I like standing at the walkways where the 3 banners are. IF you are there early, you have an unobstructed view. If the Patriots had beat the Giants, and a fourth banner hung, that would have ruined whats left of the good standing rooms spots up there pretty much.

Jeez! I'm happy this thread came up. The morning I heard the news of, Farve going to the Jets. I went online and pickup a pair of SRO tix. I usually have seats with a buddy who has season tix and the Jets are are a team that they'll give one up to me. Hmm. Not so after the singing. We'll tailgate together, and then I'm off to stand somewhere. How much time before kickoff should one get into position to see the game?

SRO tickets are the biggest scam the Kraft's have going. They don't let people stand in some of the prime areas and the other areas are all obscured or wicked far from the field. God forbid you get a hafway decent spot and then have to go to the bathroom or buy some food, cause that spot is now gone and you gotta wander around looking for another place to freeze your arse off.

I got the SRO package last year and will never do it again. SRO is a travesty, DON'T BUY THOSE SRO tickets, it is not worth it.

So would it be better if they didn't offer these?

I think so, how many SRO tickets do you think they sell for a game? That's all congestion in the stadium, more people in th bathroom, at the concessions, in the parking lot, tailgating etc. How about they improve the experience for the fans with seats instead of selling tickets that people who have done SRO most likely would never do again.

Ask the folks who have gotten SRO tickets whether they think it was worth it....

I wouldn't want them, but as long as they can sell them, they will. And I think demand will last for a long time. But your comments are useful for those on the fence about getting these. Maybe some other like them, not sure. It seems clear that you really need to strategize to make it work. I guess that's the nice thing about seats.

Agreed I had standing room only tickets for the last two games at Gillette last year and the biggest downer is that you have to go in early if you want to stand somewhere decent and that cuts down your tailgating time dramatically. People also obviously snag your spot when you go to the bathroom; it is definitely worth it to pay more and sit in seats it relieves many headaches.

"SRO tickets are the biggest scam the Kraft's have going."

The Patriots with SRO tix play to 101% of the stadium capacity.
The Packesrs play to 118% The Fire Marshall in Green Bay must be getting greased pretty good
On the other hand. The Bills play to only 88%. I doubt playing games in Montreal is going to fix that problem.
Hmm How does the L.A. Bills sound?
The leauge would have to do some shuffling of the deck. That would probably put Indy back in the AFC East.
I'm just thinking out loud of course.
