Rookie hold-outs??

If rookies are supposed to report today - when do our top four draft choices officially become holdouts ?

Isn't it about time for the "special master" to render his decisions about spreading guaranteed contract money over uncapped years??

Id say Mayo will on board by wed nite... Draft picks are not being a issuie... as seen by the top picks being signed..

Agreed; I doubt any of the rooks will be holding out solely because of disputes with the Pats.

Again--I'm just saying that the problem is not the rookies' fault, nor is it the Pats', but rather the uncertainty regarding the CBA.

I hadn't seen that until your post made me check Reiss' blog. Thanks. I never worry until they're 24 hours in as we often sign guys the night before or the morning of training camp.

Ruling is in from special master, just like Mayo and Wheatley will be real soon. I expect the deals will be signed in the next couple of days.

Thanks for the update - I am hoping they sign today and get these few days before the vets come in for some special coaching.
