P.S. wasn't the time Moss was on the cover was his last year in Minnesotta where he had a miserable, injury plagued year (at least for him).

Brett Favre is probably smiling now knowing that he won't get hurt playing but let's see if that changes in six months when he falls through his attic.

Now they are putting overated retired players on the cover?

Who is on the cover of Madden 2010 - Jim Kelly?

Apparantlly Lord Favre is going on Letterman tonight too.

I GUARANTEE YOU HE SAYS SOMETHING THAT LEADS PEOPLE TO BELIEVE HE MIGHT COME BACK AND PLAY.

Every year he does this right before the draft b/c he has the maturity of an 8 year old and is constantly craving attention.

PHEW - Close one!!

Looks like I will be purchasing madden 09

I don't think Moss have ever been on Madden. He was on nfl2k for dreamcast though:rocker:.

Moss has never been on the cover. Since they started putting players on the cover, it's been:

Madden 2001 - Eddie George
Madden 2002 - Daunte Culpepper
Madden 2003 - Marshall Faulk
Madden 2004 - Michael Vick
Madden 2005 - Ray Lewis
Madden 2006 - Donovan McNabb
Madden 2007 - Shaun Alexander
Madden 2008 - Vince Young

(Randy Moss was on the cover of the NFL 2K games for Dreamcast)

The only Viking to be on the cover of Madden is Daunte Culpepper for Madden 2002. Randy Moss was on Sega Sports NFL game for both 2000 (2k) and 2002 (2k2).

Madden's man love for Farve is rather strange and fascinating. Out of all the great players currently in the league he goes for Farve, who no longer plays. Rather funny in a way.

Favre? Now how the hell am I supposed to know who NOT to draft in my fantasy league.

And to follow up on PatriotsFaninPA, I believe Dan Marino will be on 2011's cover.

Vince Young led the Titans to their first playoff berth in 4 years and a 2 game improvement from the previous year.

No curse.

Less passing and rushing TD's, less rushing yards, more INT's...sounds to me like the Madden curse is in full swing.

The Titans made the playoffs last year IN SPITE of Vince Young, not because of him.

An injury free playoff season still doesn't translate as cursed to me.

Interesting. If it was the other way around, Jesse Jackson would surely be attempting to shakedown EA Sports.

Ok, maybe not "Cursed" like Vick or Donovan. But he had a very poor year, ala Eddie George, Ray Lewis, and Daunte Culpepper's Madden years.

And, he was hurt. He strained a quad, which kept him out of a game and a half. Kerry Collins played for him.

LOL! He probably will because Favre is on the cover.

Fits right in with Desmond Howard on the NCAA cover, a guy who hadn't been in college in twenty years when they made the game.
