Bruschi Coming Back!

Thank you Tedy, one more season to get #4!!!

The day Bruschi decides to hang 'em up will be a sad day. I just can't picture the defense without him.

Hopefully, though, he will be splitting time with someone new this upcoming season.

I think it's much more likely that he was simply being misused by Green. He's exactly the type of versatile LB that BB likes. If I had to choose between Pace and Hobson, I'd choose Pace, but I'd prefer both. We shall see.
I prefer Hobson since he already has played in nearly the identical system and I'm partial to Michigan Wolverine players over those from Wake Forest.

Re: Teddy Bruschi To Return

No prob, bro.. that kind of good news can be posted twice

Re: Teddy Bruschi To Return

I'm flipping a coin to decide if this was good or bad for the defense...

Re: Teddy Bruschi To Return

and there was much rejoicing.... YES!!!!!!

its good news. the pats cant afford to lose any LBs at this point. hopefully teddy will be a part time player and the pats get some more help at LB.

Let's be real. I am very happy that Bruschi is staying. He's a role model for the kids? He's a coach in the locker room? Ok, so why haven't any of the many young linebackers developed?

I don't see it as a matter of playing time so much. I see it as leadership in the locker room, on the sidelines, and on the field. I see it as a role model for younger guys, but also someone who can still make a difference when push comes to shove.

Because none of them are overly talented. How many of them were picked in the first four rounds ? None.

It's said to be a multi year deal, I wonder if that's for salary cap reasons or if he's really planning on at least 2 more years.

oh great...it's the "not only is the glass more than half empty...it's shattered forever and things are real real BAD!" guy.

"All News Is Bad News"...the Jack Bauer Story

That's the first thing that jumped to my mind after celebrating his return.

I love and appreciate Bruschi, but honestly I don't know how to feel about this. Will he help in 2008? Yes, probably. Will he lose another step and be a little sadder to watch? Maybe. Am I answering my own questions? You know it.

Good luck, 54. Thanks for giving it another shot.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

A lot of negative energy in this party, but we love you Bru.
