Ditka is so obnoxious.

It's funny... all these weeks in a row of him picking the pats proves one thing.

He thinks that if they are undefeated, they will be better than the '85 Bears.

Why is everyone so pissed when somebody doesn't pick the Pats? Look I think he is wrong and maybe he just has a bias but why do so many people become outraged when one person picks against the Patriots. How dare somebody do that!

Pretty sure I heard Hoge say he's going with the Patriots. No Giants picks by the ESPN crew, but Hoge, Salisbury and Schlereth haven't picked yet. Salisbury always talks up the Patriots. Schlereth, wouldn't know which way he's leaning.

I'm not pissed at anybody picking against the Pats but it's fairly obvious Ditka would pick ANY TEAM over the Pats.

I think it's deeper than that with Ditka. He appears to really hate all things related to the Patriots.

dead on. I never really tied it together before with the provincialism of the Boston area, but you are spot on.
