I really hope not. Looking back, this season went by really fast.

I remember watching ESPN when the news came we acquired Randy Moss, and it seemed like yesterday. This season has been really special. Every weekend I can't wait to see if Moss makes a crazy catch. I really hope this isn't his last game as a Pat. If it is, it'll be hard to see my favorite player leave. I really hope the Pats want him back and he wants to come back.

I think it comes down to Randy. If Randy wants to get paid as the highest paid WR in the league, which he deserves, it's really questionable.

Randy is not having a big postseason and it depends on what he feels.

if he feels he wants to go somewhere he is the center of attention well he will be gone.

Welker is far more important to keep than Moss. I keep thinking Steve Largent with speed.

Moss, I could take or leave really.

Welker is an absolute keepah!

I don't think he's going anywhere, and I think that was only solidified in the last two weeks. He's on a team that has his back and he's part of a winning team that shares the accolades and credit as well as any blame. I think for him that will become home.

Lay off the hash brownies. Weler is already signed to LT deal

At least 1/3 of Welker's catches happened because Randy was out there getting all that attention. It isn't about one of them alone; it is them as a unit.

you have to sound like an idiot with that statement..see what would happen with moss getting replaced with another receiver..i dont care if its chad johnson or steve smith..see what happens to welker stats next year without moss in the picture..welkers biggest games have been with moss being in trouble and triple coverage..no other reciever in the entire nfl has dealt with even 50% of the coverage respect MOSS Demands..most teams have something called "the moss rule" which is part of cloud deep coverage.

I would wager that NE and Moss have already hammered out just about everything but the signatures.

wouldn't surprise me. My guess is 5 years/30 million, 18 guaranteed.

Have you ever heard Belichick talk about any Pats receiver the way he talks about Moss? The only way I see Moss leaving is if he specifically asks Belichick not to use the franchise tag on him...meaning he wants to leave regardless of the money. I don't see that happening.

He will get Twigs money. If he wants money he leaves, but if he wants SB and HOF, he stays.

He's made serious cash already from his Minny Contracts

Good CHRIST. No. He's not going anywhere. This is (yet another) ridiculous thread. Craptacular day here.

Hilarious. Cloud coverage simply means the CB is the Flat/Force player. Sky means the Safety is the Flat/Force player.

The intent of his post still rings true though. As good as Welker has been, and he's been great, the idea that he's more valuable than Moss is laughable.

He shouldn't throw out terms like that to make his point if he doesn't know what they mean.

It's not all that ridiculous though.
Conventional Wisdom is "The Patriots won't pay what Moss wants/needs/deserves"

To be completely honest, I haven't expected him to come back at any point this year.

Now, if the powers that be manage to hammer out an agreement that not only pays Moss, but is cap-friendly; I will be psyched beyond words for what that means for this offense the next 3-5 years.

On the other hand; I won't be surprised if he doesn't come back. Not that he doesn't DESERVE to come back, because he does. Numerically though, I don't know how they can make it work.

I have a message for you Mr Randy Moss......LEAVE RACHELLE WASHINGTON ALONE!

ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

ps

moss will be back -- don't sweat it, dudes.
