No it wasn't, the Packers would have been a much bigger draw with Favre and the rematch from '96. How many Giants fans want to see the Patriots play the Giants when they just lost to the Patriots at home with the Patriots resting half their offensive line and playing a vanilla defense. I expect the line to open at Patriots -9 and most Giant fans to be scared off.
