For the record, a number of the national analysts have remained bullish on the Colts, even as New England has mounted its assault on history. On Friday, Merril Hoge, the former Steelers ruing back now with ESPN, made us drop our coffee when he came on WFNI-1070 AM and said hat what the Colts have accomplished the past five years, winning 12 games or more every season, is more remarkable than New England's undefeated regular season.

“The one thing (going undefeated) has been done once before,” Hoge told the station.

Total dumbass. Yeah it's so impressive that the Colts only went to the Super Bowl ONCE in those 5 years so who cares. Is Hoge more impressed with the Bills 4 Super Bowl appearances more so then the Cowboys winning 3 of them back then?

Yeah he's just as bad as jason Sehorn who has so much hate for Brady even saying Jake Delhomme and Marc Bulger are just as good.

Merril Hodge is 43. The last time a team went undefeated was 35 years ago. Repeated under the same time frame Hodge will be 78.

Yeah, that's quite the impressive run they've been on. Too bad the Patriots have more regular season victories (66) in the same timeframe than the Colts do (63). And I believe the Pats have won a SB or two in that timeframe as well.

Hodge must love the taste of crow. How many times have you seen him after a Patriots SB win have to admit that he was wrong? I remember Suzie and Jaws crapping all over him one time on NFL Matchup bacause of the Pats-hating prior to another Superbowl win over the Panthers. He was literally red-faced.

He's 1 of the main reasons I don't watch ESPN.I only watch the Pats postgame conferences.Once Bill,Brady & Moss speaks I quickly change the channel.Hodge is so irrelevant.I really hope this is his last year on ESPN.

What's hysterical about his analysis. Over that 5 year stretch the Pats have won 66games. The Colts 63. The Pats have won 2 Super Bowls. The Colts 1.
I guess teams should changes their goal at the beginning of the season. On 3, let's win 12 gms!!!!! OH YEAH. Instead of Super Bowl.

He does need an MRI on his brain. It's damaged beyond repair.

When the pats were around 9-0 and the steelers had 2 loses at that time, he had the steelers ranked #1 in his overall rankings. He has no credibility and his agenda gets in his own way.
