Perhaps the kids were too awesome and she needed more chumpness?
It is great to feel that way about our kids though, our sons grew into amazing men in spite of being burdened with me as a father.

The continuing evolution of Cedanne is fun to watch. He's a becoming a very legit hitter.
And one of the most complete all-around players in MLB. And still a kid.

What value do the two potential pending infield promotions provide at this point? Honestly, I don't want either guy taking playing time from the current players. I don't have anything against them, just seems like a guaranteed disruption with more downside than up. Convince me otherwise.

Baseball isn't like other team sports. Player can come in off the street and help a team by hitting and fielding balls cleanly.

Monasterio is a Punch and Judy hitter and a substandard defensive shortstop. Decent utility guy.

Story must get a shot at SS when he is ready. Period.
