Brown will be fine. Not everyone is Moss and can come right in and dominate. Boutte however should be shutting people up. Had circumstances been different, had he been more mature he would have been a top 15 pick in the draft imo. Dude has immense talent and is now showing it consistently.

Metz is a huge human being. I hope he catches on.

FWIW, I don’t think Brown is doing anything wrong. Most of what I saw on the reports were he was open, but Drake missed him. Which I’m also not worried about. 1. Drake getting familiar with him, how he moves, speed at which he comes out of breaks, etc. 2. Off-season time is I hope when he is working on small improvements to his throwing motion which can result in growing pains for long-term accuracy improvement.
Back to AJB, him beating Marcus easily in the slot stood out to me. Marcus is no slouch in there and speaks to how well-rounded of a receiver Brown is.

It’s all about Maye getting chemistry with the new weapons : Brown, Doubs, Raridon. I notice the reports of Maye sailing a few high ones to Brown & Raridon, he has to get used to those guys, thankfully it’s training camp, the chemistry will come. I’m really excited about all 3 of those guys. But one thing is sure, DO NOT trade Boutte. Maye loves going to him.

Agreed 100%.. Vrabel would likely even say himself and he actually did say it in so many words during his media interviews about Boutte.. the guys got a great connection with drake and had gotten better and better each season.. now will the presence of An AJ brown Boutte can slip behind defenses and really thrive.. AJ and Doubs will be fine but Boutte by being drafted here is already entrenched in the system. Also injuries happen and I'd hate to loose AJ or Doubs to injury and not have Boutte!
