Day 3 and nobody seems interested here…. So let’s see…

Here’s where they are now

Here the current top 6 or so

Pogacar is in good position (2d with 6 sec behind) to take lead in this first semi-big mountain stage.

For those who like me thought soccer was boring; I can see how this might be EVEN LESS appealing.
But I like to watch le Tour. Don’t get into Giro or other cycling races, but I like to follow Tour just like I follow WC and don’t watch any other regular soccer.

Cycling ... used to be kinda cool to watch, but really it had its day in the sun... like it better than soccer, though tbh

there are a series of vids on youtube with Greg LeMond (iirc) and it was fairly brutal takedown of cycling and certain cyclists... wayyyyy too many scandals over the years... there is persistent doping, and in cycling - along with the peds, there is the spectre of mechanical doping, which is kinda crazy... not saying cheating/doping is a "cycling issue" only - i think it happens on a wider scale in every single sport where there are millions of dollars in play...

eh it is what it is ... don't hate it, its just not on the radar anymore, least in my world...

I'm a big fan of large groups of cyclists wiping out. Especially downhill. Especially French cyclists.

I’m the same. Can’t get into any other cycling races except maybe the Olympics but I watch the tour every year. Great to have on in the background while working. Landscapes and towns/architecture are nice to see. Have driven some of the famous climbs on trips to France .
