2027 Comp Picks

I'm the least expert guy here on how they figure comp picks, but apparently yesterday at 4pm was the cutoff date for figuring who gets 2027 comp picks. Over The Cap.com seems to show that we're entitled to a couple of 7th's?

It has Gibbens as fetching the very last comp pick. Hooper falls below the 32 pick limit. So, maybe we’ll have Mr irrelevant again.

if we had 4 6th's this year (worth about our 196 pick) they could all total the value of a 4th.

The 2027 draft is expected to be historically deep and talented. There will be lots of starting talent available on the third day.

Only caveat is that the comp list isn’t official, and when dealing with the projected last comp pick, that makes that particular pick a little more risky to bank on. But nice to see we have a good group of potential picks for now.

Easy come easy go. Looks doubtful we get a 7th round comp.

Looks like the difference is that originally they didn’t think Gilliam qualified as a comp pick eligible free agent, but now they do.
