2026 Mock Draft Thread

I am not a draftnik, but enjoy the process of learning about players, their strengths and how they would meet a need on the Patriots...
What is interesting is after doing about 100 of these mocks, I find myself trying to appease the rating system of the specific draft site, rather than following my intuition....
Some players I like i.e. Malachi Fields always generates a C, while Heidenreich always generates an A.... as a decent average is the endgame I pick Heidenreich over Fields, even though I think Fields would be a better fit...
Same with TE's... draft sites become a mind game rather than an intellectual exercise.

PFSN has the 1st round completed for you to be able to mock Rounds 2+

I just did R2 and 3 for now...

Went the full 7 this time and I know I'm cheating but I'm naxing out the value based on where these guys are ranked.

I have hit on a couple already. Just sayin!

Heading into the Shrine Game and Senior Bowl, I think this is where I am. This mock requires re-signing Tonga, Gibbins and Hawkins.

Round 1

Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami

I've given up trying to rationalise the draft stock of my 25 year old favourite prospect. I'm all in!

Round 2

Blake Miller, RT, Clemson
or
Max Iheanachor, RT, Arizona State

Now that my failsafe PJ Williams is out of the draft, there's not a lot of depth at this position now after here.

Round 3

Omar Cooper Jr, WR, Indiana
or
De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss

I'm looking for the future high volume receiver to eventually replace Diggs

Round 4A

Treydan Stukes, CB/S, Arizona

Maybe take him in the 3rd and Stribling with this pick. Elite backup level prospect with starter upside as a FS.

Round 4B

Keagen Trost, RG, Missouri

He plays RT for Missouri but I think he could be an outstanding RG. The highest graded run blocker in this draft that only gave up 7 total pressures all year.

Round 5

Marlin Klein, TE, Michigan
or
Oscar Delp, TE, Georgia

Both could be TE2s in year one with the potential to be long-term Henry replacements. Eli Raridon is my favourite for this role but he won't fall this far.

Round 6A

Charles Demmings, CB, Stephen F Austin

Backup outside corner proficient in press man.

Round 6B

Matt Gulbin, C, Michigan State
or
Pat Coogan, C, Indiana

Gulbin is the highest graded center in the draft while Coogan has been consistent all year and has shone in the playoffs. Long term replacements for Bradbury.

Round 6C

Ethan Burke, EDGE, Texas
or
Keyron Crawford, EDGE, Auburn

Developmental edge prospects who, unlike Swinson, should be very good special teamers.

Round 7

Cody Hardy, TE, NC State
or
Max Bredeson, TE/FB, Michigan

Two of the best blocking TE/FBs in this draft.

I came across this by accident. It was from just over 4 months ago, just before the Shrine Game and senior Bowl.

Looking at Manx's mock:

Round 1: Akheem Mesidor. Went 22 overall.

Round 2: Blake Miller or Max Iheanachor. Went 17 and 21.

Round 3: Omar Cooper or De'Zhaun Stribling. Went 30 and 33.

Round 4a. Treydan Stukes. Went 38.

Round 4b. Keagen Trost. Went 93.

Round 5. Marlin Klein or Oscar Delp. Went 59 and 73.

Round 6c. Keyron Crawford. Went 67.

That's 10 of the first 93 picks.

Shows you how good Manx's eye is.

Anyone he mocks day 3 next year is probably a top 100 player.

Thanks for that. I was thinking last night about well things went with my binkies this year. Too damn well! I'm still gob-smacked by the Stribling pick.

It might not be as good as this run of binkies though.

5 - Arvell Reese
7 - Sonny Styles
19 - Monroe Freeling
21 - Max Iheanachor
51 - Jake Golday

Pat yourself on the back too. You deserve it.
