Re. Vrabel, it's not "the deed" itself as much as authoritatively admonishing off-field distractions and then creating one. He'll need to say something to them.

I feel like creating a distraction would be public drunkenness, DUI, public exposure, public fornication, etc.

I feel like meeting an alleged side piece at a secluded resort designed for privacy deep in the off-season isn't really the same thing.

Yet I also feel he needs to at least admit his actions created the appearance of impropriety, and apologize for that to the team.

Don’t want anyone here to smash me over the head about this to keep feeding this thread but it is just a case of bad optics at worse but you just can’t convince the mob.

You're entitled to cling desperately to your belief nothing illicit happened, but to call people who think there was an affair "the mob" or act like it is a mob mentality is intellectually dishonest. The evidence is overwhelming. This isn't a witch hunt.

It's pretty simple, you say you were there with friends, have one of them corroborate the story for you. Easiest thing in the world and they let it drag on.

It seems people are just addicted to hear other people say crazy stuff.

I guess this is why we used to use the term 'shock jock', saying shocking things grabs people's attention.

Felger was raised in a family where he heard his father say crazy stuff about the Packers so he doesn't have to leave his comfort zone to say the kind of crazy stuff that other people would be uncomfortable saying.
