Accountability…
It's so Felger to try to make the "he's lost the team" angle stick.
No one without a lot of air time to fill or clicks to get believes that.

I think you’d only lose the team if you lied to them. It's so Felger to try to make the "he's lost the team" angle stick.

You know, all she had to do is take 5 minutes on ChatGPT and make pictures of her and her friends at the resort, in the pool, on hikes…. In the fake world of AI her friends were there. .The fact that Russini couldn't provide any communications with her friends planning this trip, couldn't provide pictures or receipts confirming she was with anybody but Vrabel, and couldn't get a single one of these alleged friends to speak up and corroborate her story says pretty much all you need to know.
The media that broke the story was going to kill it if she could corroborate her lie. Her employer was going to keep her if she could corroborate her lie.
She had way too much to lose to not do everything possible to show that her story of being there with friends was true. Which means it wasn't.
So the next logical question is.... if it's innocent, why would you tell an elaborate lie you can't back up? Once you make up a story to cover something up, you effectively lost the benefit of the doubt.
That's the biggest problem in a situation like this as it relates to coaching. Lying about it. If people can't trust your word, that's the biggest problem going forward after something like thisI think you’d only lose the team if you lied to them.

If the report is true, don’t blame the media for reporting it.It was only a matter of time before the media turned this into a Patriots story and not a Vrabel cheated on his wife story.
felger's a useless packer lovin' idiot. anyone giving his stupidity, at anytime on any subject, any credence is just dumb or a willful pessimist.

Vrabel will address it with the team behind closed doors -- a mea culpa in some fashion that will renew their faith and preserve the cultural touchstones established in 2025.
[owner Robert] Kraft took advantage of that extended timeframe to put pressure on the reporter and the newspaper
Russini promptly contacted a “crisis communications expert” after becoming aware of the situation.
Given the newly learned info (below) that the team attempted to interject, the Pats are part of the story, like it or not.It was only a matter of time before the media turned this into a Patriots story and not a Vrabel cheated on his wife story.
I agree. But what he says to the public can't contradict what he says to them privately. Or respect is going to be lost.Vrabel will address it with the team behind closed doors -- a mea culpa in some fashion that will renew their faith and preserve the cultural touchstones established in 2025.
True, and to nit pick, I doubt there is much if any faith lost, except maybe for team members with Henderson's point of view.
Even then, if is's true to his faith, he knows everyone is a sinner and he's able to grant forgiveness, right?
For the others, c'mon.
Almost all of them grew up as outliers on the athletic and social scale.
Almost all have the kind of carnal knowledge that is only a fantasy for most other people.
Even without that, it's not like concepts such as infidelity and/or divorce are unknown to modern athletes.
Heck, being married in the first place is what is becoming more and more rare these days.
You’d lose the team if you have a double standard like if the team is using some monogamy morality clause on its players.I think you’d only lose the team if you lied to them.

I doubt that Early Bird Bob would be doing that given his scandal.
I doubt that the players care at all.
