Pundit mock drafts 2026 [maybe with FAILs]

Doug Kyed's first mock is really interesting. The only pick I don't like is Markel Bell. Give me Crownover instead. A lot of prospects I really like there.

1. Omar Cooper Jr, WR, Indiana
2. Derrick Moore, EDGE, Michigan
3. Markel Bell, OT, Miami
4. Marlin Klein, TE, Michigan
4. Jalen Farmer, OG, Kentucky
5. Charles Demmings, CB, Stephen F Austin
6. Eli Heidenreich, Wr, Navy
6. Cole Wisniewski, S, Texas Tech
6. Robert Henry, RB, UTSA
6. Taylen Green, QB, Arkansas
7. Will Kacmarek, TE, Ohio State

Doug is poaching your thoughts like the rest of us.

Pat Lane with a 7-rounder.

1.31 OT Blake Miller, Clemson
TRADE: Patriots trade 2.63 to NO for 3.73 + 4.136
3.73 EDGE Romello Height, Texas Tech
TRADE: Patriots trade 3.95 + 6.191 + 6.202 to JAX for 3.88
3.88 LB/S Kyle Louis, Pitt
4.125 TE Oscar Delp, Georgia
4.131: CB Charles Demmings, Stephen F. Austin
4.136: WR Jeff Caldwell, Cincinnati
5.171: S VJ Payne, Kansas State
6.198: DT Nick Barrett, South Carolina
6.212 "RB" Desmond Reid, Pitt
7.247 OT Nolan Rucci, PSU

Love Miller, Louis, Delp, Demmings, and Payne. Not thrilled with Romello Height, but could live with it.

I will throw up if Romello Height is our only Edge, but I love a lot of the other picks

Daniel Jeremiah's latest mock. Gives us Kayden Mcdonald.

"McDonald gives New England a run-stopping force on the interior. He can do the dirty work and let Milton Williams get up the field."

lomu, Miller, Freeling, Parker and Mesidor (12th overall) off the board. Iheanachor still on the board.

Personally I prefer Connor Rogers' latest. This is where I'm currently leaning.

31. New England Patriots: Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, UCF

If you’re not accustomed to seeing Malachi Lawrence in the first round of mock drafts, prepare yourself. He put on a show at the NFL Combine and his workout athleticism shows up on tape. The Patriots have hardnosed, gritty players in their defensive front but they need an explosive disruptor like Lawrence.

I like Lawrence, but not at 31. With a trade back if other players aren't available would be an option for me.

The newest DraftTek mock. I liked their previous one better.

1.31 OT Max Iheanachor, Arizona State
2.63 WR Germie Bernard, Alabama
3.95 EDGE Anthony Lucas, USC
4.125 TE Jack Endries, Texas
4.131 DT Zxavian Harris, Ole Miss
5.171 S Lorenzo Styles Jr., Ohio State
6.191 CB Thaddeus Dixon, UNC
6.198 OG Beau Stephens, Iowa
6.202 OT Aamil Wagner, Notre Dame
6.212 LB Owen Heinecke, Oklahoma
7.247 RB Rahsul Faison, South Carolina

1.31 EDGE R Mason Thomas, Oklahoma
2.63 WR Chris Brazzell II, WR, Tennessee
3.95 TE Justin Joly, NC State
4.125 CB Daylen Everette, Georgia
4.131 OT Drew Shelton, Penn State
5.171 LB Lander Barton, Utah
6.191 DT Jackie Marshall, Baylor
6.198 DT Dontay Corleone, Cincinnati
6.202 RB Adam Randall, Clemson
6.212 WR J. Michael Sturdivant, Florida
7.247 EDGE Mason Reiger, Wisconsin

Corey Durden doesn't approve of DJ mocking a DT to us in the first round.

Like the first pick. Redo the rest.

I like the #202 a lot.

Tankathon.com posts what seem like automated mock drafts. . . . Here's their current one.

1.31 LB CJ Allen, Georgia
2.63 EDGE LT Overton, Alabama
3.95 WR Ted Hurst, Georgia State
4.125 OT Dametrious Crownover, Texas A&M
4.131 DT Tim Keenan III, Alabama

I like the 1st and 3rd picks, not a fan of picks 2 or 4 and very meh on pick 5

Teets on 3 Round Mock Draft:

Pats:

31. Kayden McDonald DT (boring)
63. Antonio Williams WR (Ok)
95. Genesis Smith S (Blech, No effing way you dumb mf’er, you know nothing about the Pats! The 1 top S I don’t want at all. You stupid *****. Do some research you POS. Argh. Ahh, ffs. Ok, I feel better, it’s just pretend)

That's a huge fail to me.

- At 31 Max Iheanachor, Caleb Lomu and Caleb Banks are on the board.
- At 63 Treydan Stukes, Dani Dennis-Sutton and Mike Washington are on the board.
- At 95 Eli Stowers is on the board.

I would go OT at 31, take Stukes or DDS at 63, and use a 4th to trade up for the other (they go 78 and 79), or take Stowers.

Chad Reuter 4 round mock:

For the Pats:

31. Max Iheanachor. OT, Arizona St.
63. Sam Roush, TE, Stanford
95. Bryce Lance, EDGE, N. Dakota St.
125. Caden Curry, EDGE, Ohio St.
131. Nicholas Singleton, RB, Penn St.

Iheanachor all the way for me.

I love Sam Roush, but EDGEs Malachi Lawrence (64), Dani Dennis-Sutton (69), Gabe Jacas (83), LB Jake Golday (66) and WR Chris Bell (73) are all still on the board.

31. Max Iheanachor
63. DDS, Jacas, or Lawrence
95. Mike Washington, RB, Arkansas (96)
125. Ted Hurst, WR, Georgia St. (129)
131. Kaleb Elarms-Orr, LB, TCU (not listed)

Iheanachor, Hurst and Washington on offense is a wet dream.

DDS/Jacas/Lawrence and a fast, rangy LB with coverage skills like Elarms-Orr is equally good on defense.

Treydan Stukes, Keionte Scott, Kyle Louis, Zakee Wheatley and VJ Payne all fell between the picks.

Also of note, Reuter had DeZhaun Stribling going 36 and Demonte Capehart 49.
