They need to get specially made platform cleats for him.. So he stands a couple inches taller..

Makes sense. MIN has had some reclamation QB success under KOC. I don't think Murray is good, but it's not like he's never shown anything at all. Wouldn't surprise me if he had a random good season at some point the rest of his career. I wouldn't bank on it being real/sustainable if/when he does though.

This is plain WRONG. Murray has had stretches where he has played well enough to hear MVP talk. So he has proven he can play at a high level...at times. He also hasn't had a coach as accomplished as O'Connell. This is great pick up for the Vikings. They are paying him only $1.3MM on a one year deal. If KOC can unlock some kind of consistency out of him they get a true franchise QB. If they can't, they lose nothing and McCarthy gets another year to mature.

in a perfect world, this would be accurate... but (there's always a but)

KM is not a hard worker... he's inconsistent because he relies on his innate athletic abilities to get by, and thats it... its been pretty well documented that he does not put the time/work in to elevate his game above playground level athleticism...

Its damning when the Cardinals felt the need to include a "must study game film without other distractions" clause in his contract... they did remove the clause because reasons, but honestly that it was there should tell you all you need to know about Kyler Murray as a professional QB...

Maybe he changes, but answer honestly, how often does that happen?
